Further details
Vilamoura is the name given to an area rather than to any actual town. It is outstanding in that it is one of the largest single tourist complex in Europe and covers some 2.000 hectares of land.
As a location specifically designed for tourism it has proved to be a very successful location for all ages due to the variety of its facilities that it provides holidaymakers. The municipal administration of the area falls under that of Loulé.
If your idea of heaven is relaxing over cocktails after a day of designer shopping, Vilamoura's stunning beaches with beach bars and restaurants Vilamoura is well known for its prestige and quality in both residential and tourist environments. It all started more tham 30 years ago with the construction of Europe's biggest marina and since then has attracted thousands of tourists.
Vilamoura with it's beautifully kept boulevards and environmentally protected green areas and fantastic marina is a custom built resort and one in which most people relax and feel at home in instantly. Vilamoura is not just about the marina, it also has interesting archaeological sites, many sporting areas and facilities, equestrian centre. Vilamoura also has four professional golf course and a fifth on the way - plenty to challenge the golf enthusiast - most of all it is also a place to relax and enjoy the ambiance or just have fun.
Neighbouring the area is the once upon a time small fishing village of Quarteira that has since the 1960s blossomed into a tourist and commercial town.

Deposits of 40% are required to secure your booking and the remainder is required 8 weeks before your arrival.
If reservation is made 30 days before arriving a deposit of 40% is required and the remainder to be paid within 7 days of reservation.
Security deposit of 500,00 Euros, (or 450,00 GB Pounds) to cover damage, breakages and keys is required on arrival, returned following inspection on departure. deposits are non refundable if cancelled.
