The 'Quinta dos Quatro Ventos' is the home of artists Chris and Tom Bund where they have a Studio and hold Art Classes for Travelling Painters. The 2 Wooden Bungalows are dotted around the land with uninterrupted seaviews. The village of Azoia is within sight of the Lighthouse on Europe's most western point on a fabulous historic Mountain range within easy reach of Sintra, Estoril and Cascais. Lisbon with its International Airport is just 25 miles away.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property(s) per week in UK Pounds, all payment are made to our Account in the UK.
Easter, Christmas and New Year rates are equal to June - Sept period. The colder period is subject to a heating surcharge. A no-returnable deposit of £50 is required to confirm the booking, the balance is payable 2 weeks before arrival. Prices are per week for Saturday to Saturday, arriving after 15.30 and departing 10.00 on the final day.

A comfortable wooden Bungalow a litte closer to the main house, but still totally private and with uninterrupted seaviews. It sleeps two in a Studio layout with breakfast table, a kitchen counter equipped with all the essentials and en-suite toilette/shower room. |

Notes on accommodation
As the grounds are terraced, some of them very steep, we don't recommend the Bungalows for Children under four.
Outside
Each Bungalow has it's own private outdoor sitting area table and chairs, sun umbrellas are available. But unfortunately we don't have a swimming pool... (for beaches see: General Information)
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a 15 minute walk away but one needs to be fit to manage the steep climb down. Other beaches are from about 10 minutes drive away including 'Guincho Beach' well known for it's annual Windsurfing Chapionships.
Golf
The well known courses of Estoril, Penha Longa and Quinta de Marinha are about 20 minutes away.
Special interest holidays
Our atelier is on the property and anyone is welcome to join in our day-classes or we can suggest a specially structured course to suit your ability. We teach Drawing skills and Painting in all media, Watercolour, Oil, Acrylic, and even Tile-Painting.
Travel
Lisbon Airport is about 40 minutes by car although there is a Bus connection to our village via Cascais.
We do recommend renting a car because there is much to explore or, on request, we can rent Bicycles for you.
Distances
The nearest larger village is 10 minutes by car or local bus. To get to Sintra or Cascais takes 25 minutes.
Further details
The village of Azoia is on the Atlantic side of the fabled Sintra hills, about 1km fom Cabo de Roca', Europe's most western point. Although still a peasant farming village, there are a number of excellent Restaurants famous for their Seafood, several cafes and bars and a very basic general store. Local produce is sold several times a week and there are busy market stalls at weekends. The Sintra hills have an abundance of Castles, Monastaries and Manor Houses to explore, and wonderful walks have historic surprises around every corner. Or take a train from Sintra or Cascais into Lisbon and a tram around the 18th century centre and then up through the old Arab quarter to St, Gearges Castle. For nightlife the newly developed Dock area is a must and so are the traditional 'Fado' places in the Bairo Alto.
