Travel
The airport is in Balice, about 12km west of the city, and is most easily accessed by taxi (15 mins). Buses and trains run regularly to and from the city centre. The main railway station, Krakow Glowny, is on the north eastern outskirts of the Old Town and handles all international and most domestic trains. The PKS bus terminal, situated next to the main train station is the main terminal for most international and domestic buses.

Interesting and easy day-trips from Krakow include to Wieliczka Salt Mine, the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camps at Oswiecim and the ski and hiking resort of Zakopane in The Tatra's, Poland’s highest mountain range.
Booking notes
To reserve the apartment a refundable deposit equivalent to one night's stay must be paid. The full balance must be paid approx 4 weeks prior to arrival. The deposit will be refunded (within 1 week of departure) once it has been established that the apartment is fully in order.
