Stylish, comfortable and very peaceful apartment in a beautifully restored, elegant 19th century building - right in the centre of historic Krakow. Situated on a quiet street (Batorego), with a balcony overlooking large private gardens. Safe residential neighbourhood, but only 5 minutes walk from the city's famous Market Square with all its cafes, restaurants and night life. The building has been lovingly restored to a very high standard, with its stunning 19th century stained glass wooden stairwell. The apartment has also been renovated in keeping with the period - a mixture of modern design with a touch of classic charm. Its spacious, light and high-ceilinged rooms have parquet flooring and old ceramic stoves. It's our second home, designed to be functional and comfortable - with satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen, central heating, big bathroom and period art deco furniture. Close to a range of local shops and restaurants. Great pastries in a little cake shop just outside.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover day. Apartment will be ready from 14.00 on the arrival day and needs to be vacated by noon (12.00) on the day of departure.

Krakow Valley Golf Club approximately 45 min drive from the apartment has an 18-hole golf course, riding stables and its own shooting range.
Skiing
Zakopane - Poland's leading ski resort in the Tatra Mountains - is only 100km away. Excellent skiing facilities during the winter months and great walking in the summer.
Travel
Balice - Krakow's airport is served by Ryanair, Skyeurope, Centralwings, Easyjet, LOT and British Airways.
A taxi from the airport to the apartment takes roughly 20 mins.
The charge is approx 60 zlotys (£15), but allow more on weekends and at night.
You could also take a train to Balice from the Krakow Central station.

25 min walk or 10 min taxi ride to Kazimierz (Jewish District)
15 min walk to the main train station where you can find buses to Auschwitz and Wieliczka salt mine.

Local shops within a few minutes walking distance. There's a local pharmacy and a hospital opposite the mansion block. Electrical shop next door where you can get a plug adaptor. Several banks with ATMs nearby.
15 minutes walk to Galeria Krakowska - a swanky shopping centre.

Confirmation by email is required followed by a non refundable 25% deposit. The remaining balance has to be paid in full 2 weeks before arrival.
