Our luxury penthouse apartment is located in the Podgorze district of Krakow which lies on the south side of the Wisla river joined directly with Kazimierz by the Pilsudski bridge which was depicted in the film Shindlers List. The apartment has breathtaking views from its south facing lounge and balcony towards the famous Wawel castle. There is also a 40 sqm terrace which wraps itself around the remainder of the penthouse with direct access from the master and 2nd bedrooms. The apartment itself has been individually designed to an exceptionally high standard and therefore offers luxurious accommodation. The master bedroom contains a queen size bed and real wood fire for those romantic breaks. The 2nd bedroom has a comfortable sofa bed both with doors leading out to the terrace. The bathroom is furnished with a bath tub and shower, washbasin and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full hob, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and a breakfast bar for those lazy mornings.

Outside
Balcony and separate terrace measuring 40 square metres with views of the Wawel castle and Krakow suburbs. 5 mins walk to the banks of the Wisla river where you can enjoy walks along the river or take a boat ride during the summer months. 10 min walk to the lively former Jewish district of Kazmierz and a further 15 mins walk to the 'old town' and its market square.
Golf
The apartment is 3/4hr drive from the Krakow Valley Golf Club with its 18-hole golf course, riding stables and its shooting range.
Skiing
Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains are just 100km south of Krakow offering skiing during the winter months.
Travel
Balice airport is served by airlines such as Ryanair, Skyeurope, Centralwings, Easyjet, LOT and British Airways.
A taxi from the airport to the apartment takes roughly 25 mins.
The charge is approx 60-90 zlotys (£15-£20) depending on time of day/number of passengers etc.
Airport pickup can be arranged by ourselves depending on arrival times and dates-this service will also include showing you around the flat etc-enquire for more details.
Distances
Local shops providing all essential requirements are located within minutes of the apartment including banks and ATMs.
Car is not necessary.
Further details
The banks of the river is approx 5 mins walk.
The castle approx 15 mins walk (along the riverfront).
Kazmierz approx 10 mins walk.
Old town and main square approx 25 mins walk.
As a guide a taxi to/from the 'old square' is approx 13-15 zloty(approx £2.50).
Booking notes
An email confirmation will be required followed by a non refundable 25% deposit.
The remaining balance will be required in full 2 weeks before arrival.
A refundable deposit to cover breakages will be taken and refunded upon departure once the flat has been checked.
Full payment details will be provided by separate mail along with further correspondence regarding key collection etc.
