Oria self-catering holiday accommodation is set in southern Italy’s Puglia region, known for its endless sandy beaches, fertile soil producing many of the best Italian staples, exquisite cuisine and laid-back rural ambience. The town itself is great for exploring on foot – there’s an abundance of beautiful 16th and 17th Century baroque architecture here, alongside a castle that dates back to the 1200s and is a must-see if you’re staying at an Oria Villa. The presence of such grand buildings can be put down to the fact that Oria was the capital of the province for a number of centuries in the middle ages. Visitors to self-catering accommodation in the town can choose from an array of sublime restaurants and pizzerias – in fact the town has a reputation as a culinary hotspot in the region.

The region around Oria trulli features a host of charming old towns to visit amid its agricultural landscape, not to mention the immaculate beaches found on the Ionian and Adriatic Coasts.
