The Cottage can be rented as a 2 bedroom (sleeps 4) or Studio (sleeps 2). Rent one or both (3 bedroom, 2 bathroom). Each with a seperate Entrance, courtyard with outdoor furniture, bathroom and laundry facilities. 2 BEDROOM has a full kitchen and the STUDIO has 2 burner hob, convection microwave, fridge/freezer and all equipment. Connection between the two units is by an internal lockable (& soundproofed) door. The cottage is on it's own private section and is not attached or adjoining the Owners premises, so you are completely private and independent. The cottage is ideal for a couple, families with 2 children, extended families travelling together or two couples. We will do our best to suit all occupation requirements, just send us an email. 50 metres walk to Cheltenham beach, with its white sand, native Pohutakawa trees and calm water provides excellent swimming for children and adults alike.

The property is fully fenced and gated, with a large grassy lawn suitable for outdoor living and children's play. The Cottage is on it's own private section and is not attached or adjoining the Owners premises, so you are completely private and independent. There are two seperate courtyards with outdoor furniture. Connection between the two units is by an internal lockable (and soundproofed) door and both units have seperate front entrances.

The 2 bedroom Cottage is split level, (3 steps between levels).
The Studio is 3 steps up from ground, then all one level.
It is a flat walk from the Cottage to the beach, with ramp access down to the beach itself.

Outside courtyard with BBQ, table, chairs and sun umbrella. Ample parking.
Coast/Beach
50m to Cheltenham beach. A gently sloping white sand beach, with native Pohutakawa's for shade and calm water providing excellent swimming for children and adults alike. Coastal walkway North to several private coves, Takapuna and Milford beaches.
Golf
5 min walk to 18 hole Waitemata Golf course.
Travel
Auckland airport is approx 40 min drive off-peak via car/taxi. There is an airport bus service to the Auckland City Ferry terminal, for connection with Devonport Ferry 15 min, where a local Devonport Bus meets the Ferry or you can walk to Cheltenham beach. You can easily explore the City, North Shore and Gulf Islands without a car.

50m to beach, children's playground, local Cafe, French delicatessen/bakery/organic butcher, Corner shop, Takeaway shop and bus stop. 5 min walk to North Head, Mt Victoria and several parkland reserves. 10 min walk or 5 min Bus ride to Devonport village and ferry to city 15 min or Islands. 40 min walk/15 min Bus to Takapuna.

Shopping in Vulcan Lane or catch the Link bus to Ponsonby, Newmarket and Parnell. Various walks: Coast to Coast walkway via parkland reserves and Volcanic cones. Walk or cycle along Tamaki drive's Harbour promenade from the Ferry terminal to St Heliers (part of the 50km City cycle route). Hire a car (less than 2h drive to): West coast black sand and surf beaches. Lots of walks in the Waitakere ranges (West) and Hunua ranges (South). Visit Puhoi colonial village, kayak the river and thermal swim/slides at Waiwera on the way back. Tauwharanui Regional park it's our favourite white sand surf beach. Take a picnic (there's no shops/cafes) and Fish, walk, swim, surf, lots of native birds and farm animals.
