Property description
Dar Tamazerte is a beautiful privately owned boutique villa just outside Marrakech, a luxury retreat that looks out to the Atlas Mountains. The villa is set in its own extensive gardens with outdoor pool, outdoor terraces and mature olive and fruit trees. It is part of a small very exclusive development of 5 villas with shared use of tennis court and spa. The villa is stylishly decorated in a traditional Moroccan style with contemporary influences. The villa is fully staffed (included in the price) and provides guests with the highest standards of cuisine. Breakfast is included and other meals can be provided and served on one of the terraces or in the dining room. Each of the 3 bedroom suites comprises of an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have air-conditioning, ipod speakers, bathrobes, towels, hairdryers and luxury toiletries. Dar Tamazerte is pleased to have been chosen by Christy for their 2010 photo shoot.

Bedroom 1 - king sized bed, en-suite bathroom, shower.
Bedroom 2 - king sized bed, en-suite bathroom, shower.
Bedroom 3 - twin beds. Wet room shower and WC.
We can supply 2 extra full sized single beds.
Also a cot is available.
All bathrooms are en-suite all have WC and showers and 2 have a bath. We provide bathrobes, towels and luxury toiletries.
Personal laundry will be done by the housekeeper for a small charge.
Dar Tamazerte has a large sitting room with an open fire for those chilly evenings in the winter.
TV/DVD/Video/IPOD docking station. There is a selection of films, books, and board games.
There is seating for 8 people.
There is a dining room for those cooler evenings with an open fire and seating for 8, linen napkins and fine china.
All towels bath and swimming are provided and changed when necessary.
Excellent quality cotton bedlinen (changed twice a week) and duvets for the winter.

For those that require internet access we can provide a dongle free of charge. English - speaking host Tim Buxton and his team offers a concierge service, arranging tours and activities, and is ever willing to impart his local knowledge to new guests. Breakfast is included in the price. lunch and dinner are available on request at 130DR and 200DR per person respectfully, please give 24hrs notice.

Notes on prices
Prices £250 per night for 2 persons.
£300 per night for 4 persons.
£350 per night for 6 persons
For peak times i.e Christmas, New Year, Easter, school holidays and half-terms the rate is £3000 per week irrespective of numbers.
All bookings made more than 4 months in advance are charged at the 6 person rate.
Minimum booking 3 nights or 7 nights for peak times.
The villa is not self catering.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival time 4pm (some flexibility if no departing guests). Departure time 10am.

The nearest beach is a 2 hour drive (Essaouira).

Almelkis and Royal golf club - 30 mins drive, Palmeria Golf course - 40 mins drive, Samanah Golf course - 40 mins drive.
Skiing
Skiing is available at Oukaimden - 40 mins drive.
Special Interest Holidays
There are many excursions available to our guests which can be arranged through our English management team led by Tim Buxton - all details are provided in the house book.
We can organize shopping tours accompanied by a personal shopper. This can be customized to suit guests requirments, such as buying beautiful art pieces and intricately crafted souvenirs and gifts.
How to get there
Nearest airport (25 min drive) is RAK - Marrakech. Car hire is avalable throught Tim Buxton we would also recommend chauffer driven mini bus for excursions.
Distances
Ourika village is just 5 min drive.Situated in this village are 2 beautiful herb gardens where saffron and oils are available.

Details of restaurants, excursions, local activities etc can be found in the house "Blue Book". Any bookings required can be arranged by Tim Buxton.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% is required to secure a booking. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to your rental commencing. We also require a £400 damage/breakage deposit refundable on your return.
Bookings made more that 4 months in advance are charged at the 6 person rate .

Well, needless to say, none of us wants to go home!. We have loved and fully appreciated all that you have created here - a real oasis of calm where we have been able to unwind instantly. Its been such a blessing not to have to think about ( food) shopping, cooking and clearing up. Latifa and Souida are gems, their care, attention and warm welcome are second to none - thank you girls!. We've all enjoyed playing tennis - what a setting! our memories will keep us uplifted for quite some time.
