Notes on accommodation
This property sleeps 4 persons in comfort, 1 x double bed and 2 x single beds. We can arrange a good quality folding single bed to be placed in either bedroom should you wish, for one additional person to stay (maximum 5 persons). Should you require this facility the cost will be £50 for any stay of up to one week (£50 per week thereafter). Cot and highchair available (optional).
Accessibility
There is a lift to the first floor and the apartment is suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
There is good-sized balconies which are accessible from both the lounge and the bedroom, which is equipped with patio table and chairs for outside dining. In the evening you can enjoy a glass of vino on the balcony and take in the stunning views of the illuminated mountain top ancient Kasbah
The TRULY UNBEATABLE feature of this property is the enormous totally private roof terrace (probably the largest on the entire complex!), which is also equipped with numerous loungers, dining table and chairs.
Although it benefits from the (very important) advantage of all day sun, there is a large, decorative pergola covering part of the area to provide plenty of shade when necessary - it really does not get much better than this spot!
Coast/Beach
As you are located at one end of a wonderful pristine beach, the seemingly endless stretch of golden sand provides the perfect place for a late evening jog along the water-front, or join in one of the numerous games of beach football with the locals. You are very welcome to join them but we warned - these boys can play! A brisk walk, or even a leisurely stroll as the sun is going down is an ideal way to pass an hour taking in the sights and sounds of the beach at the end of the day.
Golf
As everywhere, golf is fast becoming a major activity in and around Agadir, which boasts 3 beautiful courses within 10 minutes drive from the marina (one 9-hole and two 27 hole). If you need any help in organising a round we can put you in touch with Agadir’s very own ‘Mr Golf’, who is based in the Marina and will be pleased to help.
Travel
Flights to Agadir. Flights are available all year round from most major airports, most are direct, usually around 4 hours flight time. Indirect flights stopping at Casablanca or Marrakech would take a little longer. As usual lots of options can be found on the internet. On Arrival at Agadir Airport Simply jump into a taxi (destination Agadir Marina) which is a 20 minute inexpensive ride away, all taxi drivers will be familiar with the Marina, so no worries about directions etc.
Distances
The apartment also benefits from the brand new Motorway that links Agadir to Marrakech. This superb new super fast toll road has recently opened, the new motorway literally cuts straight through the Atlas mountains offering magnificent scenery and slashes travel time down from 3.5 hours to a mere 1.5 hours. This really does make a day trip to this magnificent city a must.
Further details
Free WI-FI is now also available at Le Blancs bar. This beach front cafe is a two minute walk from your accommodation. So you can surf the net whilst watching the surf roll in. Having driven extensively throughout Morocco every winter since 2004 we have fallen in love with this diverse country! The breathtaking scenery, fantastic architecture, glorious food and the friendliness and hospitality of the people make this a fascinating country with one of the highlights of the journey always being our very last stop off at the gateway to the Sahara - Agadir!
