Sleeps 4 persons, 1 master double bedroom, and 1 guest double bedroom. Your own mobile phone to call us to arrange your bookings and reservations. Your own iPod to use with the sound system while you stay at the riad. 2 large open-air sitting rooms. 1 indoor sitting room with fire place for those cold winter nights. 1 large terrace with dining room shaded by a pergola, view of the Altas and the Koutoubia Mosk, sun deck, and lazy tent. Maid on site and free Wi-Fi broadband access.

Prices are for the property per night in UK pounds. Discounts for longer lets (more than 3 days) in June and September.
Changeover day
We try to be flexible with departure and arrival times. However, if we have other customers at the riad, we like people to check out by 10:30 in the morning (although we keep luggage throughout the day if need be).
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | 2 en-suite bedrooms. 1 master bedroom with shower and wc. 1 double guest bedroom with shower room. |
| Bathrooms: | 1st bathroom has a shower, sink and wc. 2nd bathroom has a shower and a sink. There are 2 additional wcs in the Riad, one downstairs and one of the upper terrace. |
| Kitchen: | Fully equipped with modern gas cooker, fridge and all quality pans, cooking dishes one can hope for. It has been equipped with all crockery for 6 people. There is a barbecue on the terrace. Finally, we also offer traditional meals cooked on-site for 15. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The maid comes daily. The riad is cleaned every day. Bedding and towels are changed every 3 days. |
Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning is a reversible heating/cooling system. Internet access is free of charge on our broadband service. Children are welcome and we provide a cot and tall chair for babies.

Accessibility
We are located 2 minutes away from the Marrakesh Main Square. Our house has 3 levels with staircases and no elevators.
Outside
The property has a lovely terrace wide open overlooking the Atlas and the roofs of the Medina. The terrace has been laid out to provide both shade (under the pergola or the lazy tent) and a sun deck with 2 deck chairs to tan profusely. Also, the central patio provides an area of comfort, relaxation and calm with the trickling sound of our fountain or the music from the sound system.

170km to the nearest beach: Essaouira.
Golf
There are 3 golf courses around Marrakesh easily accessible from the Medina: The Royal Golf, The Amelkys Golf, and the Palmeraie Golf. We can arrange daily transfers at additional charges with our driver's company.
Travel
Marrakesh airport is located 20 minutes away by taxi. We can arrange your airport transfer at the following charges: 100 dirhams (around 8 pounds) for 2 people, 200 dirhams for 4, with a personalised welcome at the airport and a private car/people carrier to drive you away to the Medina.
Distances
Marrakesh main square Jema El Fna is located 300 meters away: i.e 350 yards away.
Further details
The riad is located in the midst of the souks area, although in a quiet street, allowing you to be in the heart of the Medina (convenience for transport and ease of access) but without any of the inconvenience of the Medina (calm, quietness and safety).
Booking notes
- Bookings are considered firm once a 50% deposit has been paid.
-Cancellation policy: deposits will be refunded in full if cancellation happens 4 weeks prior to the stay. Deposits will be refunded up to 50% if cancellation takes place between 2 and 4 weeks prior to your stay. Cancellation earlier between 2 weeks and earlier than your stay, you will loose your deposit.

About the owner
My family was in construction and in 2006 I bought a little ruin in the centre of Marrakech.
In 2007, I decided to take a career break and moved full time for 18 months to Marrakech to completely restore and total refurbish this place.
It was a fascinating project personally and such a dive in the local culture, something I'll never forget.
Although I enjoy going there, I simply cannot go every weekend of course. Therefore I preferred to keep the house busy, get people to enjoy Fatima's fantastic cuisine and have the pleasure of my house from time to time.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
It took me 4 years to find a property so close to the main square but yet in such a peaceful street.
More central is difficult to find, the souks are just a stone throw away, it's safe and it's full Moroccan Marrakech Medina: vibrant, full of colours, full scents of incense and herbs and spices or olives...
At the same time, the house is slightly off beat to enable you to enjoy a peaceful rest on the terrace and to suntan!
