The piece-de-resistance is the penthouse with stunning 360 degree views to Spain, the Bay of Tangier and the ancient medina.

There are three large mosaic tables and seating for twelve, where guests can enjoy their drinks while taking in the unforgettable view. Coast/Beach
Tangier seafront boasts a large sandy beach that is less than five minutes walking distance from Dar Jameel. The beach is regularly maintained and cleaned and throughout the year. Numerous cafes, restaurants and bars line the promenade opposite. Tangier is famed for its nightlife and this is one of its prime locations throughout the year. Many other wonderful beaches can be found less than an hours drive away along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts.
Golf
Located on the outskirts of the city, approx. 15 minutes drive from Dar Jameel. Royal Tangier Country Club is the oldest club in the country, and one of the finest in North Africa. The course winds its way through cypress, pine and eucalyptus trees while crossing the mountain, sloping down and climbing again. It provides panoramic views over the white town of Tangier and the Straits of Gibraltar. It has tree-lined undulating fairways, old-fashioned saucer bunkers and large, elevated subtle greens. Beneath a green-tiled roof, the newly-built clubhouse verandah gives onto a large garden and fountain overlooking the putting green and the practice area. Caddies available.
Travel
Tangier international airport is less than half an hours drive from Dar Jameel and the International Port less than 5 mins. Car hire in Morocco is relatively expensive and, therefore is not recommended; a better, and cheaper alternative is to hire a car with driver. Dar Jameel can arrange this if required.
Distances
Asilah, famous for its artesans, handcraft, beach and excellent seafood is approx. 40 kms. along the Atlantic coast. Ksar Sagheer, another beautiful seaside village, also known for its beach and seafood is located at about the same distance to the east along the Mediterranean coast. The ancient city of Fes is 3-4 hours drive.

Tranquility, peace and harmony, utterly charming. Delicious breakfast! Love this beautiful place. Denzel, Spain Would be a very difficult task to find a better place in Tangier than this one! Place is immaculate and the staff would do anything for you and always with a smile! Food was great and the decor of the place has to be seen to be believed.Tom and Sarah. U.K. All I can say about Dar Jameel is excellent! We stepped into the hotel from an alley that didn’t look like it would promise that much, but entered our own Arabian palace! Our entire stay was fantastic and made better by the brilliant manager Driss who literally catered to our every need. The food was also gorgeous, a traditional and delicious Moroccan breakfast was included, and for a reasonable price we got a truly wonderful dinner. Thank you Dar Jameel and thank you Driss!
