Sania Plage is situated on the magnificent East-facing coastal stretch between Marina Smir and the charming and bustling fishing town of M'Diq. This 7km long beach is divided into three sections: approximately 1.2km at M'Diq town, a private section of approximately 2.5km in front of the Royal Palace and the 3.3km of beach between Kabila Marina and Marina Smir. Sania Plage sits right at the centre of this prestigious final section between the two marinas, literally on the sand, with nothing between it and the sunrise over the sea and the sound of waves lapping the shore. Quite simply, Sania Plage is located on the best beach on Morocco's beautiful Mediterranean coastline. The sandy shoreline is washed by sparkling clear seas and is swathed with bands of sea shells. It is difficult to think of another beach quite this unspoiled in the whole Mediterranean. It is the beach chosen by His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his summer palace.

The apartment is located on the second floor so it is not recommended for older people.

Golf
Cabo Negro Royal Golf Club is a five minute drive from the apartment. It was designed according to the purest British tradition by Hawtree & Sons and was renovated and extended to 18 holes in 1992 by Cabell B. Robinson. The course is 18 holes (6364 metres) - Par 72. Handicap limit: 28 (Men), 36 (Ladies).
“This course is 18 holes of luxury. The front 9 which runs by the seaside is tight with strategic bunkers and mainly straight fairways but the back 9 opens out into full view of the Rif Mountains which is truly spectacular and there are some great holes. The greens are in very good nick and so are the fairways but some of the approaches are very tight, which is a good test.” – Tim Sandars August 2006.
Travel
Sania Plage benefits from a nearby entry/exit spur to the new motorway that links Tetouan and Fnideq/Ceuta. This allows fast access not only to Tetouan, but also connection to Tangier and Rabat. Travel time from Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport to Sania Plage is 45-60 mins (60km).
Distances
There is a great variety of local amenities within easy access. This includes pleasure marinas, golf, scuba-diving, horse riding, jet-skiing, restaurants, medinas, souks, museums, etc. Many are just a pleasant stroll away, others a short drive of 5-10 minutes. For those happy to venture slightly farther afield, there are other fascinating and enjoyable day trips.

The proximity of the Royal Palace ensures an exceptionally high standard of maintenance, cleanliness and security in the surrounding area.
The region has benefited from major improvements to infrastructure. Many miles of local road have been upgraded and transformed with paved pedestrian promenades, walkways and street lighting, complimented by extensive planting with mature palm trees and irrigated flower borders.
