This is a modern, air-conditioned, spacious 2-bedroom 1st floor apartment in the delightful seaside village of Meljine. Meljine is just a stone’s throw away from the picturesque, medieval town of Herceg Novi, situated at the entrance to the ‘fjord-like’ Bay of Kotor. Nearby is the beautiful Savina Monastery. From Meljine you can walk along the sea promenade stopping off at cafes and hotels and eventually you will reach Herceg Novi and the harbour, and Igalo famous for its Spa Centre. Meljine is only 15 miles from Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Tivat (Montenegro) airports. The owner of the apartment, is a UK citizen but met his British wife when she was on holiday in Montenegro. 39 years later they still return to visit as it has a special place in their hearts.

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning unit can be used for heating if booking in the Spring or Autumn. Radiators are also available for the winter months. Vacuum cleaner, general laundry and cleaning equipment provided. DVD player available. The apartment is managed by our local English speaking agent. Further photographs of accommodation available. A portable internet connection for use with a laptop computer is available on request.

There is a large balcony to the front of the apartment; table and chairs provided and a clothes dryer.
Coast/Beach
100 metres from the main beach, shops and restaurants. Safe bathing in clear blue seas (there are subaqua diving schools in the area). Pebbled beach and concrete areas for sunbathing (sun loungers can be hired). Various boat and coach trips available including excursions to Croatia. Local agencies can provide further information on excursions and special interest activities. Easy access to Herceg Novi.
Travel
There is immediate access to taxis and the local bus service which caters for the whole of the Bay of Kotor, Montenegro (coast and mountains)and beyond. Both Tivat (Montenegro) and Dubrovnik (Croatia) airports are only 15 miles away. Car hire, taxis and buses are readily available.

Booking notes
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance required 8 weeks before arrival. Payments can be made via cheque or bank transfer in pounds sterling. A 100 euro refundable deposit is required on arrival to cover any material damage. Electricity and water are included in the price.
