Satellite TV installed. Beautiful location. Suitable for children. If no availability or for larger parties booking, can refer customers to another smaller rental chalet within 100m of this one.

Accessibility
Not wheelchair friendly and several stones steps on ground floor (though does have sofa bed and downstairs bathrooms).

Outside
Picnic table and chair outside with beautiful view of mountain. Also large parking area on owner's land which adjoins main road to Ski lifts (always cleared winter time) so easy to park just a few metres from front door.

Coast/Beach
200km (~3 hours) driving.

Skiing
Ski season from late December to end March, snow from December to April. Chalet (1565m) is 300m from the Savin Kuk ski lifts (to 2250m), ski school, ski pass office, ski hire, 2 restaurants and 1 bar. The ski runs here are 3500m long, there is lighting for night skiing. Nearby are the slopes of Javorovaca - 400m long, On the other side of Zablajk are the slopes of Stuoc, 1780m long, which will be re-opening soon. There are also plenty of opportunities for cross country skiing throughout the Zabljak area. Summer there is glacier skiing at Velita Kalica 300m. There is also skidoo hire and ice skating on Black Lake. English speaking instructors are available.

Guides are available locally for mountain walking (summer), skiing, Tara Canyon white water rafting and many other activities.

Travel
Zabljak is accessible from Podgorica, Tivat and Dubrovnik airports (great to combine cost and mountains). JAT & Montenegro airlines fly direct to Tivat from Heathrow May - Sep. All year JAT fly from London/Moscow/etc. to Podgorica and Tivat via Belgrade. Many flights to Dubrovnik (BA from Gatwick; Croatian airlines from London, Manchester and Nottingham etc). In winter drive via Podgorica/Kolasin/Tara). Otherwise Niksic/Savnik route is quicker from Tivat/Dubrovnik. Transfers can be arranged.

Can walk from front door to Savin Kuk lifts/restuarants (0.3km) and lots of mountains & lakes, Zabljak 4km, Black Lake 6km, Tara Canyon at Burdivica (rafting) 20km, Podgorica 158km, Ostrog Monastery (~130km), Tivat 242km, Budva 218km, Kotor 239km, Herceg Novi 283km, Dubrovnik 300km.

Further details
Zabjak is a place for all seasons in the heart of the beautiful Durmitor National Park and world heritage site. In the summer the area is very popular for walkers (and mountain bikers) with 22 marked tracks ranging from a 1-2 hour Black Lake stroll to a 5-6 hour hike to the highest peak, Bobotov Kuk (2,525m). Nearby is the Tara Canyon (2nd deepest in the world after the Grand Canyon) with rafting and walking), the Ledina Pecina ice cave and Piva Lake. 50km away is the Biogradska National Park - one of the 3 remaining primeval virgin forests left in Europe.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is necessary to secure the booking with the remainder payable at least 2 months prior to arrival.
