The log cabin is modern and fully equipped. Exclusively located 400m from the main ski lifts of Zabljak at Savin Kuk. The beautiful town of Zabljak, the highest resort in the Balkans (1,456m) is surrounded by 23 peaks over 2,200m and 18 lakes. It has restaurants, bars, shops and internet cafes. During the rest of the year it is a base for mountain biking, jeep safari, hiking, caving, bungy jumping (second highest in Europe) and arguably the most scenic white water rafting in Europe, in the Tara canyon (deepest in Europe). All this and you are only 2 hours away from the stunnning Adriatic coastline.

Suitable for children, heating with log burner and electric heaters are available for the rooms.
Outside
Roofed barbecue area outside, lawn and private parking space. Parking space may not always be accessible in winter due to snow. Though there is plenty of room for off road parking outside the cabin.

200km from the coast.
Skiing
Ski season from January to March, snow from December to April. The cabin is 400m from the Savin Kuk ski lifts, ski school, ski pass office, ski hire, 2 restaurants and one bar. The ski runs here are 3500 meters long, there is lighting for night skiing. Nearby are the slopes of Javorovaca - 400 metres long, On the otherside of Zablajk are the slopes of Stuoc, 1780m long. There are also plenty of opportunities for cross country skiing through out the area of Zabljak.
In the summer there is glacier skiing at Velita Kalica - 300m.
There is also skidoo hire and ice skating on Black Lake.
English speaking instructors are available.

Zabljak accessible from Podgorica, Tivat & Dubrovnik airports. Montengro Airlines fly direct to Podgorica from Gatwick. To Dubrovnik; Easyjet from Gatwick & Stanstead, Jet2 from Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Belfast & Edinburgh, Thomsonfly from Birmingham, Manchester & Gatwick, BMIbaby from East Midland, FlyBe from Birmingham, BA from LGW. From From Dubrovnik/Tivat take new Morinj/Niksic/Savnik route. From Podgorica take Niksic/Savnik route or Kolasin/Tara route. Transfers can be arranged.

Zabjak is a place for all seasons. In the summer the area is extremely popular for walkers with 22 marked tracks ranging from a 1 - 2 hour stroll round Black Lake to a 5 - 6 hour hike to the highest summit, Bobotov Kuk (2,525m). This world hertitage site is awash with flowers in the spring and contains many features of outstanding natural beauty such as the Ledina Pecina ice cave and the vast Tara Canyon, the largest in Europe, second only to the Grand Canyon.
50km away is the Biogradska National Park - this mystical place is one of the 3 remaining primeval virgin forests left in Europe.
