Villa Maslina has everything you need for a great holiday. Newly renovated (2009) it has four bedrooms in the main house and two in the adjoining guest wing with 5 shower rooms and a cloakroom. The living space has a modern fitted kitchen, dining room to seat 12, sitting room with great sea and mountain views and a snug with Sat TV and sound system. Outside the villa is surrounded by safe fenced terraces with sea views, BBQ and dining terrace, sitting areas and a sun trap courtyard. There is a flat deck Roman style pool (sun all day) and it is a totally private space with large fully equipped sun terraces, lawns and landscaped gardens. The grounds surround the house and have a games room with darts, table tennis and croquet. Secure parking for 5 cars and a separate laundry.The Villa is very safe and secluded but only a 5 minute drive from the beach and shops. Montenegro has a low cost of living with a good bottle of wine (1 litre) from 2 euros and all basic food at excellent prices.

Notes on prices
Villa Maslina costs from £1200 per week for 7 persons. Each extra person is £100 per week up to a maximum of 14.
Bookings for 2012 : same price as 2011 but a minimum payment of £1500 per week for July and August (7 persons) extra persons £100 pppw.

Changeover day
Changeover is Sunday. Guests must vacate by 10am Arrival from 3pm. Sundays are the most popular as more flights.

Notes on accommodation
Pre booked meal service for frozen ready meals and a shopping service. Villa Maslina is the ultimate holiday house! Suitable for large or small families or a group of friends it has privacy and safety yet is close to all amenities. No need for air con as the stone walls keep it cool in the hottest weather. Individual hot water system to all bathrooms and no water shortages. The rooms are attractive and practical with quality furnishings and everything you need for a great holiday.
Accessibility
Short flights of steps, the main house on three levels and no wheelchair access.
Outside
The very private fully fenced grounds of the villa are stunning. Large landscaped fully equipped terraces with palms and flowering shrubs surround the flat deck swimming pool (8x4m) and the Villa itself opens out onto spacious fenced terraces for outdoor eating (seats 12) and for relaxing. A large charcoal BBQ can cope with the biggest cook up! There are plenty of sun beds, comfy outdoor chairs and a swinging seat. There are several lawned areas, a gazebo and below the pool deck a table tennis table and croquet lawn. To the side of the Villa is secure parking for 5 cars and a separate laundry. To the rear of the Villa is a sun trap courtyard accessible directly from bedrooms 3 and 4.
Coast/Beach
The blue flag, safe, sandy beach at Przno (Lustica) is a 15 minute walk or 5 mins by car. It has good parking (2E day) and a full range of beach facilities. No tacky shops just a great beach, sun beds and pedaloes for hire ice-creams and 2 bars one doubling as a restaurant. Pine and olive trees and grass for a picnic or football. Other pebbly beaches all around Lustica Peninsular and boats trips to the Blue Cave from Mirista 30 mins away.Przno - top beach in ME by Rough Guide & Lonely Planet.
Special interest holidays
Hugh Chapman is an excellent guide. Previously spending 10 years in Kenya running wilderness camps he is now in ME full time and lives locally to the villa. If you would like a guided walk around the coastal paths or something more adventurous on Vrmac or Lovcen Mountains then he can arrange it for you. Travel
Montenegro Airlines flies from Gatwick Sun, Wed, Fri to Podgorica, Easy Jet,Fly 2, BA etc fly to Dubrovnik 1.5 hours. Free pick up and drop off from Tivat Airport. Transfers and car hire can be arranged for Dubrovnik or Podgorica. Car hire recommended for touring area approx 45 euro per day in Tivat. Taxi from Tivat to villa approx 6 euros one way.
Distances
Beach, shops, cafe's and cash machine 5 mins. Restaurants 5 mins. Tivat and Kotor (UNESCO Heritage site) 15 mins. Budva (great nightlife) 30 mins. Lovcen NP 45 mins. Lake Skadar 1 hour. Perast 45 mins. Villa Maslina is on the edge of a small, quiet village which has no facilities other than 2 churches! Radovici is 5 mins and has shops,cash machine, post office,doctors and lifeguards plus 3 cafes/restaurants,bars and pizza cafe.

Montenegro has unrivalled vistas and magnificent scenery at every turn. Within easy reach for a half or whole day trip are Kotor, Lovcen National Park, Lake Skadar, the Ancient capital of Cetinje, the Old Venetian Port of Perast with the islands just off shore and the Croatian town of Dubrovnik. Lustica has great beaches and water taxis run from Tivat to Mirista where you can take a boat to the Blue Cave. From Kotor and Perast boats will take you around the Gulf of Kotor an unforgettable site.
If you like late nights Maximus in Kotor is the hottest club in Europe or try the new Miracle Bar in Budva in fact the whole of Budva heaves every night of the week!
Less strenuous but just as enjoyable are the numerous pavement cafes in Tivat and Kotor try the sea front ones in Tivat for a great view of the new Porto Montenegro Marina and its super yachts.
Eating out is easy with everything from seafood to street pizza and don't worry about the exchange rate ME has some of the cheapest food and wine in Europe.
For money matters all the banks have branches in Tivat and Kotor plus loads of shopping opportunities.
Suggested reading: The Rough Guide to Montenegro( amazingly accurate!). ME requires all tourists to register on arrival at the nearest tourist office. We can arrange this for you. Villa Maslina is registered with the MTB and has all the relevant certificates and public liability.
Booking notes
Pricing please note : 7 persons £1200 each extra person £100 pounds per week.( July and August minimum payment £1500) If you would like a chat please e mail your tel number and we will ring you on Skype. A 10% deposit is required on acceptance of your booking and after signing the booking form. Balance due 90 days before arrival date. A refundable security deposit of 150 Euro payable in cash locally or can be pre paid with your booking to cover any damage. Payment by cheque or bank transfer.
