10% discount for booking 2 or 3 apartments together. Minimum stay is 1 week. Government tourist tax of 80 cents (0.80 euro) per adult per night (children over 14 half price, under 14 free) is additional and will be collected by the agent.

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms and living areas have air-conditioning (cool and heat). Living rooms have cable TV (apartments A and B) or satellite TV (apartment-C) and DVD players. Wifi Internet access is also included. All apartments have a safe for keeping valuables in. Each apartment has an iron and ironing board. Bed linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels). For stays longer than a week, fresh bed linen and towels will be provided. All apartments are fitted with smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. If you smoke, please use the balconies. No pets please. Two babys travel cots and 3 high chairs are available for booking (no charge). Two adult bikes are also available for booking, free to use, but 100 euro per bike deposit payable. The house has an automatic back-up water supply in case of mains water supply cut.
Accessibility
Entry to the ground floor apartment is level with the ground. The other apartments are accessed via an external stairway. All the apartments are architect-designed split level configuration with 4 or 5 steps between main bedroom/bathroom level and living areas.
Outside
The 3 apartments have exclusive use of the swimming pool and garden. The pool is a modern, chlorinated and fully filtered system, and is cleaned and maintained every week. It is 6.8m (22ft) long and has a shallow and deep end. A gardener visits every week to water the plants. A removable pool safety fence is installed. There is a sun terrace next to the pool with sun loungers as well as a grass lawned area. There is also a shaded communal eating area, should you choose to use it, with 3 large wooden tables and benches providing plenty of seating for all guests, and a barbecue. The garden is completely enclosed by a wall and fence with a vehicle and pedestrian gate to a quiet road. To the side of the house, still within the garden, there is a grassy area shaded by a large tree and some smaller trees which is suitable for children to play in. The gravelled parking area is also within the wall boundary and has space for one car for each apartment.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach, which is suitable for children, is just 200 metres from the apartments. There are also many smaller little beaches strung along this stretch. The water is very clear. A very large sandy beach can be found at Jaz (30 mins drive), with many more all along the coast.
There are also good beaches on the relatively undeveloped Lustica peninsula, 25 mins drive away. Zanjice (35 mins) is very beautiful and has fantastically clear water and a pleasant little beach restaurant.
Special interest holidays
Hiking and walking - the Montenegrin part of the Dalmatian coast is particularly spectacular with the mountains rising straight from the sea. Close to the house is a signed hiking trail up the mountain (Vrmac), and a route via old Stoliv village. Near to Kotor is Lovcen National Park which is excellent for hiking. You can also walk the wall of Kotor old town, quite a climb, but the views are fantastic! If you are interested in hiking please ask at time of booking. White water rafting - further a field is Tara canyon, the deepest canyon in Europe and the second deepest in the world. You can go rafting, feasible on a 2 day trip, staying overnight in a log cabin. Its not expensive, quite safe in summer (less water from the mountains), and stunningly beautiful. If you want to reserve in advance, please ask at time of booking. Water sports - there are many activities available on the coast, including kayaking, sailing, diving, water skiing, paragliding, windsurfing and bungee jumping.
Travel
The closest airport is Tivat, just 15 mins drive away. Montenegro Airlines London Gatwick flight now arrives at Podgorica (1.5 hrs). There is a wider choice of flights to Dubrovnik, just over the border in Croatia, around 1.5 hrs drive away. Airlines include Croatia Airlines, BA, EasyJet, Flybe, and Jet2. You can fly from many European cities. UK departures include London, Belfast, Birmingham, Exeter, Glasgow, Jersey, Leeds Bradford, Southampton and Liverpool. Airport car rental is recommended.

Places of interest which you may wish to visit are: Kotor a historic walled old city (10 mins drive), Tivat (15 mins), Budva with its own old town, lively nightlife and watersports activities (35 mins), Sveti Stefan upmarket island connected by causeway (45 mins), Cetinje old capital of Montenegro (1 hr), Podgorica current capital (1.5 hrs), Mount Lovcen (1 hr), Lake Skadar (1 hr), Monastery at Ostrog (2 hrs), Tara river canyon (3 hrs), Ski resorts of Kolasin (2 hrs) and Zabljak (2.5 hrs).
Further details
The apartments are located at Markov Rt (Markov's Point), between Prcanj and Stoliv, which is on the small coast road between Kotor and Tivat. The Agent will meet you at the apartments, show you the accommodation and give you the locations of the local shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. For all 3 airports, Tivat, Podgorica and Dubrovnik, taxis and car rental are available, or we can arrange a transfer please ask for a quote when you book. From Dubrovnik car rental or transfer is easier than taxi, due the border crossing. The journey from Dubrovnik is pleasant, you drive along the coast road. You will be sent detailed directions as part of the booking process. There is a bus service from Tivat to Kotor via Stoliv. This section of coast road is very beautiful, passing through stone fishing villages and is relatively quiet since most traffic between Tivat and Kotor takes the route via the tunnel, and the coastal traffic takes the ferry across the fjord. There is a mini market within 2 minutes walk which opens late and sells everything you would need. There are larger supermarkets around 10 minutes drive away in Kotor or Tivat. There is a cafe/eatery also 2 minutes walk away, next to the minimarket. There are many more small restaurants strung out along the little coastal road which provide ample opportunities for alfresco eating. Eating out is not expensive in Montenegro. There is one music bar near the beach which is open in summer, but the immediate area caters mainly for families. However, there is lively nightlife to be had a short drive away in Kotor. There is a good market by the old town in Kotor. Markov Rt is a good location for fishing, used by adults and children alike. You can grill the fish you catch on the barbecue.
