This family home is located in one of the most amazing locations on the Montenegrin coast. Behind are the mountains. In front and to left and right are spectacular views up and down the coast. There is a main house with an annex beside it and downstairs is a completely separate self-contained apartment. The fabrics and spices in the kitchen reflect the travels of the owners - especially in Asia. There are books on the shelf for those who want to read and the pool is perfect for cooling down or for exercising. The house is reached by a path and has steep cliffs nearby so is not ideal for very young children unless closely supervised. The area is peaceful and not in the middle of the tourist activity so a car is recommended. Quiet must be observed after 10pm.

Apart from the accommodation price, each guest is obliged to pay town tax upon arrival at the following rate:
Eur 1.00 per person / day - for adults.
Eur 0.50 per person / day - for children 12-18 years.

Notes on accommodation
House has main section with bedrooms 1 and 2, bathroom with bath and shower, plus living/dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, toilet with sink. Below is a fully equipped, self-contained flat with bedroom 4, living room/kitchen and shower room. On the ground floor there is an annex with a large bedroom (bedroom 3) and small toilet with sink.
Accessibility
House is reached by walking along a rough path and has many stairs so not wheelchair friendly. As the area is away from the crowded resorts, a car is recommended. It is a short drive to restaurants, shops and other beaches.
Outside
Outside there are various levels of patio area, outside dining table, small BBQ and a small private exercise pool.
Coast/Beach
There is a quiet rocky beach about 10 minutes walk down a steep path to the south and to the north there is a pebble beach with restaurant about 10 minutes walk away. Numerous other beaches are only a short car ride away.
Travel
A car is recommended. Tivat Airport is about a 45 minute drive away, Podgorica is less than an hour's drive and Dubrovnik Airport is about a 2 and a half hours drive away.
Distances
Petrovac is the nearest town with a bank, supermarket, etc. It is a 5-8 minutes drive. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance.
Booking notes
For reservation, a downpayment of 30% is required. Rest is paid in cash upon arrival. Security deposit of 200 Euros for breakages or damages should be given upon arrival and will be returned on day of departure if there are no damages. Bookings must be for a minimum of 1 week.

In a country of outstanding beauty where lovely views abound, this house excels. It sits on a promontory with unsurpassed views in all directions. To the south a series of rocky outcrops layer into the sea, to the north the bay of Budva, and it is nestled beneath the mountains to the east. Magnificent in the sunshine but always beautiful whatever the weather. The property takes full advantage of the views with huge picture windows. This is the ultimate place to stop, to restore one's soul and to gaze upon the beauteous landscape. The property is flexible; able to accommodate a large crowd but for my money it offers a fabulous long term rental opportunity for a writer, artist or discerning person to live, weekend or holiday. About the owner
Helen and Tom are global nomads who have lived and worked in many parts of the world. In 1996 they first visited Montenegro and fell in love with it. Shortly thereafter they bought a simple holiday house on the site of the current house. They rebuilt in 2006, making a home big enough for family and friends to visit. Nowadays they split their time between Montenegro, Sweden, New York and places in between.

Though the first house was simple (with an outhouse!), the view was the best along the Montenegro coast.
