Bathing Area by the Apartment

A newly built, light and spacious apartment with its own private parking space. It has a separate kitchen and dining room and two en-suite bedrooms with an additional 3rd cloakroom in the hallway. The large living room has three double patio doors which all open out onto a good size balcony with views of the bay. This apartment is fully equipped and has an air-conditioning/heating system and an electronic safe. Ljuta is set in an exclusive part of the bay which catches the sun all day long and the water front has plenty of bathing areas for you to enjoy with purpose built steps taking you into the crystal clear water of the Fjord which is only 30m away from the apartment. It is only 7km from the UNESCO World heritage walled town of Kotor and 6km from Perast. It is also only 3km from the the stunning beach at Drazin Vrt with its bar and restaurant, It's on the way to Perast from the apartment, a must!

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week and night in UK pounds. For longer lets prices are negotiable please contact John Antoniou. There is a refundable deposit of 150 euros for breakages that will need to be paid to our representative upon arrival at the apartment.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, just ask. Arrival is 2 pm and checkout is 1O.30am. If these times are not suitable due to flight times please let us know and our representative Anka will try and help with any arrangements to make your stay more comfortable.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
The living and dining room are situated to the front of the apartment benefiting from views of the bay and the glorious sunset. The bedrooms are to the rear which give them the cool shade from the majestic granite mountains. The apartment is suitable for couples and families with children, but does not have wheelchair access. Non-smoking only, long term rental negotiable. Please note that there is a Tourist tax that has to be paid by all clients visiting Montenegro, It is as follows, Adults 80cents per night - Children 12yrs to 18yrs 50 cents per night and children under 12 do not have to pay, Unfortunately this is the law and has to be paid locally to our representative who will give you a reciept to show at the border if required.

Outside
Private parking space marked up as P11.2. found outside the main apartment blocks off the road and is the second one looking from left to right.

Coast/Beach
30m from the apartment. Ljuta is a beautiful fishing village nestling on the waters edge, renowned for having the cleanest water in the bay. There are plenty of individual bathing areas with purpose built steps into the water and there is also a small beach bar open during the summer. To the right of the apartment if you tavel around 3km to Drazin Vrt there is a lovely beach with a super beach bar/restaurant open all day.

Travel
Tivat airport is 14km away (20 mins by car). Dubrovnik's Cilipi airport is 75km away (1 hour 20 mins by car). Car hire is recommended to experience what Montenegro has to offer, A local reasonably priced taxi service is available.Ther is a regular bus service 200 yards from the apartment that takes you all round the area. Montenegro airline has Direct flights to Tivat airport from Gatwick, Thomson, British Airways, Croatia Airways and Easy Jet (Very Cheap!) fly to Dubrovnik Airport.

Distances
The following are places of interest within easy driving or walking distance from the apartment. Kotor 10 mins driving, Perast 10 mins driving, Budva 25 mins driving. The Stari Mlini restaurant is 5 mins walking distance. The beautiful waterside town of Dobrota is a 10 min walk. Local shop with fresh produce and all daily needs is a 3 min walk. There is also a beautiful fresh fish shop which has a superb selection of freshly caught fish and an array of world wines just a 3 min walk to your left.

Further details
There is plenty to do in Montenegro from white water rafting to serene forest walks, including diving, mountain biking and water sports. The must see UNESCO medieval walled town of Kotor which is too small to get lost in and yet the labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets easily confuse until you arrive in one of the many squares, where there are elegant piazzas with pavement cafes, restaurants and bars bustling with life. There are cathedrals, museums and in amongst it all there is even a nightclub. At night the mountains behind Kotor are spectacularly illuminated and are a sight to be seen. There are plenty of banks with English speaking staff, cash machines, supermarkets and souvenir shops. Kotor also has a fresh produce market daily (Best on Saturday's) which we highly recommend as everything is organically grown in Montenegro. For a special treat pay a visit to the excellent Stari Mlini (watermill) restaurant situated on the waters edge 5 min walk from the apartment. Perast is a beautiful town for walking, exploring or visiting churches and museums. There are short boat trips to the Benedictine monastery and the Baroque church on the two small islands in Perast (A must!) Well worth a visit. Budva has a vast number of beautiful sandy beaches, bars, clubs and restaurants and is a bustling holiday destination. Recently hosting the Rolling Stones and Madonna in concert. Other attractions of Montenegro are National parks, lakes. Montenegro also has the largest Canyon in Europe called the Tara River Canyon in the Durmitor National Park (A must see). This is just another aspect of the spectacular diverse scenery in the unspoilt country of Montenegro.

Please contact the Owner (details below) for availability. A non refundable deposit of £100 secures the booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A welcome pack with local information and relevant contact numbers can be found in the apartment accompanied by a local bottle of red wine and water. Our local agent will show you the facilities of the apartment and provide the keys. If there is any thing you need to know about What to see, What to eat or What to do just ask!.

I had a wonderful holiday in Montenegro. It’s untouched by tacky tourism and has a unique vibe. The apartment was stylish and spacious, offering all the comforts of home. The location of the apartment is great offering stunning views.The bus stops outside the apartment and takes you into Kotor for 50cents, all buses are air-conditioned and comfortable. Kotor has something for everyone.The weather was fantastic and Anka (who is really friendly) made the holiday really easy.
