The apartment is situated on the waterfront in Prcanj, a beautiful old fishing village with breathtaking views over the UNESCO protected bay of Kotor and the surrounding mountains. A fantastic location. Open the apartment front door and there is a small lighthouse situated on the punta/jetty, the crystal clear water of the Fjord are 5 metres from your front door, where you can swim or soak up the relaxed atmosphere and watching yachts and sailing ships passing to and from Kotor. Ancient stone houses, with terracotta rooftops line the shore, within a few minutes with you can find restaurants and including the Hotel Splendido which has a very stylish restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the bay, all with very reasonable prices, the apartment is also fitted with air-conditioning and wardrobe. Prcanj makes an ideal base from which to explore the many historical sites and the outstanding natural beauty of the area.

Coast/Beach
3 metres to sea. There is a punta, jetty and access steps for swimming to clear waters of the Bay immediately outside the house, and a small beach. Larger beaches are located within a 5 mins walk. The coastal town of Budva and Sveti Stefan are 35 mins away. More wonderful beaches and stunning scenery.
Travel
Tivat airport 15 mins drive. JAT Airlines fly from Heathrow on Saturdays. Dubrovnik airport 75 mins drive (85km). Croatian Airlines, BA and Thompsonfly, fly on a regular basis. Care hire is inexpensive and recommended, but not essential - local bus stop is 50m from flat and will take you to all of the main coastal areas of interest.

The Kotor Bay area is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, with spectacular scenery and many historic and natural treasures. Prancj is superbly, and peacefully located as a base to explore the whole area. It is a charming waterfront village which is also the home of the Zupta Church, which is the largest in the bay area, which was built by the Venetian architect Bernardino Macarucci. The old city of Kotor is a beautifully preserved medieval walled city built between the 12th and 14th centuries. The entire city is criss-crossed with narrow streets, hidden squares, taverns, restaurants and interesting markets. The city walls wind precariously up the adjacent mountain, and a climb to the top provides breathtaking views over the Bay of Kotor. There are cheap and frequent local buses between Prancj and Kotor (1 euro each way - 10 mins), Tivat (15 mins), Perast (30 mins), and all other destinations. Taxis are reasonably priced and readily available. It is possible to scuba dive, swim, sail and water ski and there are many beautiful walks. There are fabulous beaches, fjords and lakes and mountains to explore, all within proximity of the Bay.
