A recently refurbished apartment near to the North Gate and church of Sveti Marija. Ideally situated in a quiet corner of Kotor Old Town with views of the famous fort. You will have a variety of restaurants, bars and shops within a short stroll away, not forgetting Kotor's many historic churches and former palaces. Just outside of the Main Gate there is a daily food market selling produce straight from the farmers.

Changeover day
Check-out time will be no later than 11am and check-in no earlier than 3pm, this allows sufficient time for the apartment to be cleaned and made ready for your stay.

Accessibility

Coast/Beach
Areas are located for swimming and sunbathing just a short walk in the direction of Dobrota. Just follow the lower road leading from Kotor Old Town. Or if you prefer a more secluded spot, why not take a drive around the bay where you will find plenty of places to relax and swim. If beaches are more your thing, a 15 min drive will take you to Zanjice Beach on the Lustica Peninsula or Jaz Beach, spend the day topping up your tan then head off to Budva for a cocktail and watch the sun go down.
Skiing
Montenegro has 2 ski resorts Kolasin and Zabljak. Although both resorts may not have as many ski runs as its more established European neighbours, it still provides something for every skier. How many countries can boast a climate where you can ski in the morning and only 2 hours drive away you could be on the beach sunbathing?!
Special interest holidays
The Tara Canyon, 2nd deepest in the world, can provide plenty of things to do for even the most active outdoor sports enthusiast and thrill seeker. Whitewater rafting, climbing and walking can all be had in the most spectacular setting.
Travel
Montenegro Airlines fly from to Tivat from London Gatwick Wed and Sun (Kotor 10 min drive away). Or fly to Dubrovnik from UK with: Thomsonfly (May - October), BA, Croatia airlines. Hire cars available at both Tivat and Dubrovnik airports. If flying to Dubrovnik it takes approx 15 mins to get to the border (turn left when leaving the airport), then a further 45 mins drive to Kotor. Either drive around the fjord and soak up the spectacular scenery or take the ferry from Bijela to Lepetane.
Distances
Which ever direction you choose to take from Kotor you will find places of interest. Take a 15 min drive along the bay to the beautiful old town of Perast or 30 min to Sveti Stefan (famous for both its beauty and the film stars that used to relax here). Budva for nightlife and partying is only 15 min drive away. The old capital Cetinje is 1 hour away. Tara Canyon is 2 hours drive. Or just drive and explore...
Further details
The apartment is available for minimum weekly lets (shorter stays and long lets may be available subject to availability, 4 nights min). This is a no smoking apartment. No pets. Free parking is available just outside the North Gate or there are several pay and display car parks just outside the Old Town. Meet and greet service included in rental cost. Please note, collection and return of keys outside office hours will incur a cost of 25 euros payable to Management Company. Please advise of any travel delays as soon as possible. The management company can provide a pick-up and/or drop-off service from the airport (price upon request). An information pack will be provided along with a free bottle of local wine.
Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable booking deposit is required. Balance of payment to be made 4 weeks prior to arrival. 150 euros refundable security deposit to be paid to local agent upon collection of keys to cover any damage to the apartment or furnishings. Please note that a small fee may be charged by the letting agent if you wish to pick up the keys for the apartment outside of office hours (usually between 9 - 5), Payment can be made via paypal, cheque or bank transfer to UK bank or local bank.
