Coast/Beach
Beach at the Pirate Bar three minutes walk away. Part rock and sand and has umbrellas & sun loungers for daily hire. The bar has access to the water off the jetty.
At the other end of the village, 10-15 minutes walk, there is a jetty with steps and access for swimming.
Travel
Tivat Airport is about 30mins away. I have trouble getting flights into Tivat, without changes, so I use Dubrovnik. 1 1/2 hour drive. For car hire make sure it comes with insurance for Montenegro if you rent at Dubrovnik.
Our agent will arrange Car Hire or Thrifty do cars for Montenegro visits.

Owner profile
About the owner
My wife and I are both life long expats. We had spent several years taking holidays with a view to finding somewhere for retirement. A few days in Montenegro was enough to convince us this will be it. At the moment we are spending as much time as possible in Montenegro but hope to 'pull the plug' in a couple of years and head out there for good. We purchased the apartment in Perast and have since built in Kolasin for the skiing and summer mountain activities. Please see MN337. We rent the places out to make a bit of money but also get a lot of satisfaction out of people using our places to enjoy the country.
Year purchased: 2005
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Put Perast in your Search Engine and tell me why you wouldn't buy a place here. Busy little place in the summer and beautiful desolation in the off season.
Well placed for day trips anywhere on the coast and for many inland mountain parks. As a UNESCO protected area modern style buildings aren't coming to Perast.
Unique benefits of the property
The place is just so scenic and the people really friendly. Good restaurants in Perast and in nearby villages.
