Orahovac is a small village and a is situated in a popular destination for the local's and neighbouring countries. It is situated in the (Bay of Kotor) Boka Kortorska region and has been described as one of the cleanest bays in the region. Orahovac boast a thriving mussel farm just up the coast and the 'local' beach is located directly opposite the property. The beach has a great local bar serving refreshments all day as well as providing sun lounges and umbrellas. Orahovac also has an exquisite 11 century church built on a rock. It has been there since before the Otoman Empire and worth the visit. The property is made out of original stone and is completely renovated. It also has a large terrace balcony in the back, that can be used for bbq'ing or just relaxing and time out of the sun.

This is a newly refurbished property that would normally go for a much higher rental prices. This is an introductory offer for 2008.
Changeover day
Friday to Friday is preferred, but this is flexible.

1 single and 1 double pullout bed - sleeps 3. Brand new bathroom including shower, WC, and wash basin. Kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, washing machine, microwave. Full set of crockery for eating at home including cutlery, glasses, plates and bowls. Lounge area, including TV, DVD and sofa beds as described above. Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned once a week. Linen and towels are changed once a week. The property is managed by a local estate agent that will meet & greet you, regardless of your arrival in Dubrovnik, Tivat or anywhere else in-between. |

Notes on accommodation
Both Apartments are fully refurbished on the inside, with all the luxury of home. The top floor property has air conditioning and heating, the lower properly is naturally kept cool by the stone. It has been completely renovated and should be a pleasure to stay in.
Accessibility
I would not recommend this property for wheelchair users. I do recomend a car to get around. Parking is available 20m away from the property.
Outside
The 1st floor property (Apartment B) has a large patio, outdoor furniture, umbrella and a bbq.
Coast/Beach
Beach is less than 100m from the properly. The cobble stone beach is one of the cleanest in the area. It has a fantastic local feel bar and provides sunbeds and umbrellas. It is a quiet beach, and is very popular with the friendly locals. If you want something unique but still relaxing -this should be ideal.
Travel
Nearest Airport is Tivat - 20km away- less than half an hour by car. Or Dubrovnik (Cilipi) airport in Croatia - 1 hour drive away.

4km due West Perast.
35km due West Hecegnovi.
50km due West Croatian border.
10km due East Kotor town centre.
20km due East Sandy Beach of Jaz - where the Rolling Stones performed.
25km East Budva Old town.
28km East Sveti Stefan Beach.
40km East Njegos Sponekik in the mountains and a must see.
40-50km North Ostrog Church up in the mountains and if you're into what the pilgrims do - they stay there the night, 3000m above sea level... its breathtaking.
Further details
The property has a convenience store next door. The nearest bank is in Kotor, but cards are generally used in all shops and proper restaurants. The local 'kafana' Kum's is a few doors down and worth a visit, just to meet the owner - Vlada. He cooks up decent grilled meat dishes, salads and has a very good stock of the local brew - just ask for 'rakija'.
