This is newly built apartment with two bedrooms, a large living/dining area (air-conditioned) and a balcony overlooking the Marina and giving spectacular and unique views across the bay. It is equally close to the waterfront (3 minute walk) and the town centre providing swift access to the promenade 'Setaliste Pet Danica' and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. On the right of the apartment there is a beautiful park which is a true botanical garden located in the very heart of Herceg Novi. On the left there is Old Town with is landmark - Fortress 'Forte Mare' (with open-air cinema on top of it).

Accessibility
The apartment is on the second floor. There is car access to the front of the building. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Outside
There is a large balcony ideal for enjoying the general hubbub of everyday life in and around the marina, watching the fisherman come and go and the sun set over the bay.

Coast/Beach
Three minute walk to the seafront with numerous small beaches along the promenade. Also, all daily Boat / Yacht Trips to some remote and beautiful beaches (Miriste, Zanjic, Rose) as well as sightseeing along the Bay, to the famous 'Blue Grotto', old towns Kotor, Perast, Budva, Sveti Stefan and many water activities start from the Marina. The 'Blue Grotto' is a cave near Herceg Novi well known for its stunning blue waters and the magic of swimming inside it is simply unforgettable.

Travel
Herceg Novi is situated between 2 inter.airports Dubrovnik in Croatia and Tivat in Montenegro. Dubrovnik AP is served by British Airways, direct flights from Gatwick, Croatia Airlines and Thomsonfly. Tivat AP is served by JAT. Flight duration is 2 hrs 15 mins (from the UK). Transfer from either airport to our apartment takes about 45 min (taxi/travel agencies). Montenegro Airlines has connections to Podgorica AP (about 2hr drive) from Belgrade, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Zurich.

Car hire is available at all airports as well as from many agencies in town. Montenegrins drive on the right. International Driving licence is not required by law in Montenegro. UK licence (photocard type) is required. Distances to some places of interest.
Kotor - 45 km, Tivat - 55 km, Cetinje - 95 km, Sveti Stefan - 60 km.
Dubrovnik - 50 km.
Tara Canyon (second deepest canyon in the world), National Park Durmitor - 4 hrs.
Monastery Ostrog near town Niksic - 2.5 - 3hrs.

Further details
Currency used in Montenegro is euro. There are many shops of all kind within walking distance. During summer months some supermarkets are open 24 hrs/day. Food market is open every day with fresh local produce. Banks, including cash points are also available as well as many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, open-air cinemas, theatres, cafes, museums, galleries and art shops, churches, monasteries, 3 famous fortresses for outdoor concerts and other cultural events. Most restaurants are reasonably priced and serve fresh seafood, meat and vegetables, all ecologically clean and from the local areas. Only 3 mins walk from the apartment on the actual promenade there is 'Black Mountain' Travel Agency that specializes in holiday activities such as diving, sailing, walking, paragliding, mountain biking (m. bikes available to rent), kite surfing, white water rafting on river Tara and many specialist holidays eg photography, fishing etc. (more details available on request). Visits to places of interest can also be booked - daily trips to Old Walled Town Kotor, Dubrovnik, Perast, Monastery Ostrog and many more. The Regional Diving Club is in Bijela (only 10 mins drive). Taxi rides, local bus excursions and boat trips are relatively inexpensive.
The renowned Igalo Spa and Health Centre (20 min walk) is one of the largest in the Mediterranean. The Spa specialises in preventative and physical medicine, rehabilitation, wellness, fitness and sport, massage, facials, hydrotherapy, thermal waters, balneotherapy and mud applications.

Booking notes
To secure booking we require a 30% non-refundable deposit. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before your stay. Payments can be made via cheque in UK Pounds sterling or bank transfer.

You would be expected to pay a small charge for Tourist Tax at the same time when paying for the accommodation. It is usually one off registration charge of 2 Euros per person + tax of 0.7 Euros per person per day during busy season. Children under 12 years of age do not pay daily charges.
