Two apartments are available in this four hundred year old heritage listed bungalow, situated a mere 5m from the edge of the water with a large terrace (punta) in front. Excellent for sunbathing, swimming, fishing/snorkeling or outside dining. Fantastic for sitting outside in the warm evenings with a bottle or 2 of the excellent local wines. Have parking bays available 5 metres from the apartments.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible but are normally weekends. Shorter stays can easily be arranged.

All linen is included, but, we ask you to bring your own towels. Sheets etc will be changed weekly and cleaning of the apartments will be weekly unless otherwise advised. |
Notes on accommodation
The walls of these apartments are made from local stone and are 80 cms thick, this keeps the apartments very cool in summer. There are two radiators in each of the apartments if needed.

Outside
There is a very large Punta (terrace) 5 metres from the front of the apartments that offers excellent sunbathing opportunities, with steps for access into the crystal clear warm water of the Boka Kotorska (Kotor Bay) for swimming. Also ideal for fishing. There are also tables and chairs with sunshades for outside dining.
Coast/Beach
The apartments have their own terrace on the front of the bay for swimming etc, but a short 5 minute walk brings you to the beach complex in Stoliv, with facilities for drinks and recreational facilities.
Travel
Dubrovnik airport is a 1 hour drive from the apartments using the 'ferry' from Lepetani, a short drive (10 min) from Prcanj. Car hire can be obtained from there. There is also a local bus service to Kotor or Tivat or Herceg Novi, stopping outside the apartments. Taxis are readily available. Boat and Bicycle hire is readily available locally.
Distances
The walled city of Kotor with its oustanding architecture and palaces etc. is a fifteen minute drive and Tivat, approx. 20 minutes. The excellent beaches at Jaz are about 40 minutes away. Further along is the town of Budva with its excellent sandy beaches.Alittle further brings you to Sveti Stefan a magical little walled island!
Further details
Prcanj is a beautiful old stone built village and offers a couple of mini markets, an excellent restaurant and a very good local bakery plus a post office. In the centre of the village stands an example of Montenegro's fine classic architecture, its magnificent Orthodox Church of our Lady. Kotor has numerous restaurants/cafes and shops, and has good banking facilities with ATMs. In the narrow winding streets and superb squares you will find brightly coloured umbrellas with seating and tables outside the lovely bars and cafes. A must to view, are the magnificent palaces and churches in this walled city. The city has a very vibrant 'night life' with bars and cafes coming to life in the balmy evenings. There are several disco's and the new night club/disco/karaoke bar built into the city walls is a 'must' to visit. Around the area are numerous historical sites. We do also recommend taking any of the several boat trips that will take you around the bay visiting the two islands in the bay. These are available from Tivat or Kotor. From these boats you see the the bay from the water and see the picturesque beauty of this area. The mountains sweeping down to the sea and all the villages and churches that you see make this a wonderful memory.
Booking notes
Bookings available all year round. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. The balance payable no later than four weeks before your arrival. A 150 euro damage (refundable) deposit will be required on arrival.
