Being on the first floor it does not get too hot and is light and airy with fantastic views across the Boka Kotorska. A gated entrance leads into the parking area within the development. Prcanj is a charming waterfront village about 10 minutes drive from the historic walled town of Kotor. There are cafés, restaurants, small shops and a bakery in the village within easy walking distance. Ten minutes walk away is the aptly named Splendido Hotel which has a very good restaurant; ideal for a special night out or for an excellent breakfast. Prcanj makes a fantastic base from which to explore the many historical sites and outstanding natural beauty of the area. Close to some excellent beaches. Taxis are widely available and a regular bus service could take you very cheaply to the towns of Kotor, Perast, Herceg Novi, Budva and Tivat.

Further details
There are shops, bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Just outside the walls of Kotor old town is a daily market with mainly local fresh organic fruit and vegetables with a couple of stalls selling meat and cheese - they tend to pack up by 2 pm. Supermarkets also exist - usually at least one in each town. You should be able to find a shop open until about 10pm. The bars in Kotor stay open until late especially at the weekend when some have live music. Inside the walls of Kotor by the Cattaro Hotel is a night club called Maximus - Tuesday night is Karaoke night - great fun to be a spectator unless you can read Montenegrin! There is an internet café with Skype in the main square if you need to contact someone at home. Montenegro has had an extremely interesting history and as a result historical sites abound in the area - too many to mention but any guide book will list them. It is well worth the time exploring some of them. Eating out is very inexpensive (about €10 for an excellent fillet steak or a sea bass), the local wines are also very good - why not try the Vranac (red) or Krstac (white). These can be bought in the shops for under €2. There is also a local brandy - but hang on to your socks with this one!

You certainly have a wonderful apartment in a stunning area. The apartment is extremely well equipped with everything at the very highest standard and is a real home-from-home. I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family. Looking forward to a return visit. P. Smith - Charlbury.
We all had an amazing time in Montenegro. The apartment was well-equipped and very comfortable. And we enjoyed the wonderful surroundings very much. Hopefully this wasn't the last time, maybe we will take more Montenegro trips. Thanks for the arrangements.
