Situated on the North West coast Mont Choisy and with its own 3km stretch of beautiful sandy beach is the beautiful villa, Sussex Breeze. Sleeping up to 6 people, this perfectly kept, family run, 3 Bedroom accommodation is perfectly located in a quiet area close to the main town of Grand Baie on Mont Choisy Beach. With plenty to keep families entertained, such as the local scuba diving clubs, walking with Lions, submarine adventures, catamaran trips, dolphin watching, golf courses, horse racing and deep sea fishing. There are also a number of recommended restaurants, a super market and banking facilities within a short walking distance. The garden hosts an abundance of colorful tropical plants and trees with a grassed area with plenty of areas of sun and shade and a patio and barbecue area for relaxing. A perfect gettaway for couples and families with a number of guests returning back to Sussex Breeze year after year.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is situated on a quiet road and is secured with a vehicle gate with parking for up to 2 cars. The garden is secure and attracts lots of birds. The pool is ideal for cooling down and the patio shaded from the tropical sun. All the staff speak English and are less than 10 minutes away if they are needed in an emergency.
Outside
There is a covered patio area with easy chairs and a separate eating area overlooking the pool and tropical garden. The garden is mature and totally secluded by an attractive wall and in filled gate. BBQ for use.
Coast/Beach
5 min walk to 3km of White, sandy beach at either Mon Choisy Beach of Troux Aux Biches.
Golf
It is a little known fact that Mauritius was the third country in the world where Golf was played (after Britain & India) at the Mauritius Gymkhana Club. This popular club still thrives today with a host of international standard courses designed by golfing legends.
For more ambitious golfing enthusiasts is the Golf du Chateau. A 72-par course covering 6,498m with breathaking views in picturesque surroundings.
Special interest holidays
A 5 min walk from the Villa, is Blue Water Diving Centre, offering diving from 6-50m depending on experience, with open water diving on the reef.
A variety of watersports are available at the local jetty.
The bustling town of Grand Baie with an array of restaurants, shops including a hypermarket, smart duty-free boutiques at Sunset Boulevard and pretty waterfront is an 8 minute drive away.
Walk with the lions at Casela, snorkell on the coral reef, underwater submarine safari, dolphin watch, scuba diving and deep sea fishing can all be arranged.
The Champs de Mars race course in the capital of Port Louis is the oldest horse racing club in the southern hemisphere and is also among one of the oldest in the world and is very popular with the locals.
Mauritius, being forged by volcanic activity, has some spectacular parks, botanical gardens and sites including waterfalls, mountain views and forests to explore either by foot, on horseback, quadbike or mountain bike.
Travel
Plaisance Airport is 1 hour away. Transport is provided to the villa and can accommodate up to 6 guests and luggage. Car hire can be arranged for £125 per week. There is a good bus service on the island linking all the towns.
Mont Choisy has a bank, some shops, a supermarket for the basics.
Distances
The Blue Dive diving centre is operated from here. Snorkeling, glass bottom reef boats, water skiing, banana boats are available at Trou aux Biches. There is a wide selection of local restaurants near by at Point de Cannoires which is a 2min drive from Mont Choisy towards Grand Baie. Grand Baie itself is bustling town with its own market, fresh fish sold on the waterfront, supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants with cuisine including Creole Indian, Chinese, Italian and French.
Further details
There are shutters to every window and doors for security and a burglar alarm is connected to the local police station. Parking is off road on a private drive for up to two cars with a vehicle gate. There is a safety deposit box for valuables and security lighting. There is a maid facility between 9am-11am. Homemade Creole cooking is available on request. Towels and linen are provided and changed regularly (excludes beach towels).

Firstly let us introduce ourselves: we are a family who live in East Sussex in England. We have been renting this beautiful villa for over 8 years and take great pride in the upkeep of the inside and tending to the beautiful mature garden outside. My husband spends most of his holiday nurturing the flora and forna, attracting beautiful birds to the garden. We have an English speaking family who live only 10 minutes away from the villa. They are welcoming, warm and will do all they can to make your stay extra special. They will of course do all airport transfers, daily maid service, gardening, and would be happy if you wish to show you some of the island. If you really want to experience home cooking they can provide a home cooked creole meal on request! Sarah.
