Our villa is next to the coastal road opposite a 4 star hotel. The nearest accessible beach is "La Cuvette" 10 minutes walk, Pereybere also 10 minutes, Grand Baie beach 10 minutes walk. In fact all along the coastal road are beaches. All beaches have white sand with emerald crystal clear water. On the shore we have filaos trees and grass growing and normally guests can hire deck chairs and practice all kinds of water sports everywhere. One of our longest beaches "Mon Choisi" is about 15 min.

An 18 hole Golf course at Belle Mare Plage about 40 minutes' drive by car from Grand Baie offer all the challenges that a trained golfer is looking for. Another golf course at Anaita near Belle Mare Plage in a nice setting is also open to the public. For guests who wish to travel light, it is possible to hire golf clubs and bag on the spot but perhaps the choice of brand names could be limited.
Special interest holidays
Being a painter and ceramist, this could be a special opportunity for guests interested to have workshop or courses in oil painting, painting on glass, ceramics, china and also hand building sculpture.
Besides, we have a plantation of 4 acres of land where all tropical fruit trees to be found on the island have been planted. We have a collection of full bred cocks and hens, guinea fowls, ducks, geese and turkeys, goats and even a little wild pig. Guests who love nature can choose to spend time on the plantation to experience natural living and a super barbecue is installed with a huge table and long benches for meals and hammocks hang for siestas. A pergola with wine trees gives shades from the hot summer sun. All this is set among the sugar cane fields away from the centre of Grand Baie but still within Grand Baie (5 minutes), with a superb view on the Coin de Mire, the sea on one side and a range of mountains on the other.
We normally eat the fresh produce of our plantation.

Local shops offer quite a large variety of produce from local to imported ones. We have restaurants that offer the following food: Creole, Indian, Chinese, French, Italian, fast food, snacks and of course stylish and gourmet restaurants that are found in some of our reputed hotels. For those who like the folklore, they can try the fast food of street vendors, very cheap and diverse, thus they can have a taste of the Mauritian food culture. Lots of small cafe offer food at reasonable price for breakfast and lunch.
