Outside
Two private generous terraces one overlooking Mistra Bay and the other overlooking Mistra Valley enjoying outreaching fanatastic panoromic country and sea views. Both terraces have dining spaces ideal for alfresco dining. The front terrace overlooking the valley also enjoys an outdoor heated spa that can also be used as a heated splash pool for children all year round, BBQ and sunbathing area, and two canopes for welcome shade.
Coast/Beach
Nearest swimming area is 400 metres away from the apartment. Nearest sandy beaches are found 3km away.
Travel
Malta international airport at 21km. Gozo Ferry at 6km. Renting a car is a good option if one wants to reach the farthest parts of the island. International and national driving licenses are acceptable. Driving is on the left and all road signs are in English.
Distances
St Paul's Bay and its neighbours Bugibba and Qawra are Malta's largest, seaside resorts. They offer a variety of nightlife and leisure options. The coastline here has some wonderful open sea views and a vista across to St Paul's Island, where, according to legend, the ship carrying the Apostle is said to have been wrecked. The coastline promenade provides a long, though mostly level and easy walk from St Paul's Bay all the way to Qawra or Xemxija Bay.

Xemxija is a town on the west side of St. Paul's Bay, Malta. Xemxija (meaning sunny) is the gateway to the sandy beaches of Golden Bay to the west, and to Mellieha Bay to the north.
Xemxija is a quiet resort, surrounded by Maltese countryside and some of the most fertile valleys in Malta. By walk one can find a picturesque small fishing harbour, Hotel, Restaurants, wine bar, Pubs and Mini-Market opened 7 days a week. Nightlife, shops, cinema, casino and bars can be found in the villages of St Paul's Bay, Bugibba and Qawra, all within 5 minutes drive.
This resort is surrounded by nature, picturesque countryside’s, history and traditions. Located just a few meters from the apartment is the Xemxija Heritage Trail. A walk along this trail whilst enjoying the magnificent country side, one can see the remains of thousands of years of history that the Islands of Malta have. A Bird Sanctuary can also be found in Xemxija.

Guest comments
We had a wonderful time at the penthouse apart in Xemxija. It was quiet but not secluded, spacious, bright, clean & tastefully furnished, and very family/child-friendly. Terraces sported great views of the Mistra Valley and Mellieha; many of the best beaches, diving spots in Malta are mins away by car; and the Gozo ferry in about a quarter of an hour. Parking was very convenient. Andy and Claire were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly, responsive to questions and requests, and thoughtfully stocked the fridge, larder, toy cupboard much better than usual welcome hampers. We highly recommend it if you're after a peaceful relaxing vacation in the Maltese Islands. Dr E Ang and Ms J Hsu London.
