Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning in all bedrooms. Highchair and cot available. Ideal for families with children. Smokers are welcome however we only allow smoking on the balcony, in the yards and in the garden. We can supply an extra bed for an additional person at a charge.
Accessibility
The apartment is on elevated ground floor level with approx 12 steps to reach the apartment from the road. No wheelchair access.
Outside
A good sized lovely private garden with patio, barbecue, dining and sitting areas. A splash pool of 10 feet diameter by 3 feet deep with 2 sun loungers. Young children will enjoy the swing on the patio.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes walk to the well maintained sandy beach of St. George's Bay. A 10 minutes drive or bus ride takes you to a water park which features children's splash land, lazy river, high tide wave pool, family slides and super bowl slide. A fun day out for all the family. Open April - October.
Golf
A sports club is situated in Marsa which is 20 minutes away by car. The various sport sections include an 18 hole golf course, nineteen tennis courts, five squash courts, floodlit cricket pitch, two full sized billiard tables and a large open-air swimming pool. Another section is the Polo Club.
Travel
20 minutes drive from Malta International Airport, 15 mins from port and 25 minutes to Gozo ferry. Car hire is useful but not essential.
Distances
Very central location, 5 minutes walk to Public transport which connects you to Valletta, Sliema and most tourist hot spots. The ideal location for your holiday since it is a quiet area yet within easy reach from practically anywhere and everywhere.
Further details
Swieqi is a modern and quiet village located close to the buzzing nightlife of Paceville. Just 5 minutes walk down the road takes you to a cinema complex showing all the latest movies, 10 pin bowling alley with 20 lanes, a games room and a children's entertainment area. Two casinos are less than 15 minutes walk away and offer both slot machines and live gaming tables. A shopping complex, bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants are situated a short walk from the apartment. Sliema, the most cosmopolitan town is just a 10 minute bus ride from Swieqi and Valletta, the capital, 20 minutes away. In the summer months every weekend one or more festas are held celebrating the patron saint of the village. Fireworks are let off every evening lighting up the night sky. A 10 minute drive takes you to a nice water park which is lovely both for adults and children. Open April - October. A mini market, frozen foods store, DVD shop and stationery shop are located 50 metres away from the apartment. An ATM and exchange machine are located 300 metres away.
Booking notes
Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of 25% deposit and balance payment to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Alternatively you may pay a 50% deposit with the remaining balance paid on arrival. A refundable breakages deposit of €300 or £200 is required on arrival.
