The sandy beach is ideal for children with a long gradual decline. Other facilities nearby, include Popeye's Village (used in the filming of the movie) and horse riding. There are many restaurants, bars and shops in the nearby villages of Mellieha and Bugibba. The apartment has a large balcony including a table and 6 chairs. There are 6 sunloungers and a large umbrella which can be taken to the pool.

Saturday is changeover day in peak period only. Other times of the year are flexible. Arrive after 3pm and leave before 11am to allow cleaners time to do their thing.
25% deposit required with booking, the balance due at least 6 weeks prior to arrival. All major credit cards are accepted.
Holiday Apartment in Mellieha, Malta
About the area
The apartment has open sea views, and the development leads directly to the sea. The largest beach in Malta at Ghadira Bay (also known as Mellieha Bay), is a 10 minute walk. Many other beaches are also nearby such as Golden Bay, Ghajn Tuffieha and Gnejna Bay, Paradise Bay, Selmun, Mistra (all about 10-15 minutes drive).
There is one golf course in Malta located about 30km away.
How to get there
The apartment is approximately 40 minutes drive from the island's airport at Luqa.
The nearest bars and restaurents are approximately 5-10 minutes walk. The nearest village is Mellieha where there are many bars and restaurents. This is a 5 minute drive, 20 minute walk up a steep hill or a short bus trip. Valletta, the capital is approx 30-40 minute drive. Popeye's village is a 5 minute drive, Gozo Ferry a 10 minute drive, the ancient city of Mdina is about 20 minute drive. There is a major bus terminus with 10 minutes walk giving access to all major parts of the islands.

1. We would all like to say Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. You are very lucky to own such a lovely place and so new and quiet! You have a lovely view from your balcony and we managed to spend every evening enjoying some local wine sat admiring the bay.
2. We arrived back yesterday from Malta and I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time! The apartment and complex were beautiful and we had the best holiday ever. The weather was wonderful too. We always agreed that we would go somewhere different each year for our hols but we fell in love with Malta so we may well come back next year!

About the Owner
We are a British family living in Hampshire with 2 teenage children. My husband works for a computer software company and I work with horses. My husband was born in Malta, has a Maltese mother and spent every summer as a child holidaying in Malta with relatives.
As a family we spent most summers in Malta and then decided to invest in a holiday apartment in the island we could use and rent out the rest of the time.
Having sought advice from family, we decided to buy an apartment at Tas Sellum before they were completed, knowing the builder Tumas produces apartments to the highest standard of quality on the islands. We were not disappointed and bought a second apartment off plan.
