For my husband and I the fascination of Gozo never seems to fade away even though we live in Malta and we visit Gozo regularly. Although separated by a 25 minute ferry trip, Gozo has retained its rural charm with its secluded small beaches, mysterious valleys and awe-inspiring cliffs with their sheer drops into the blue mediterranean. This is why we regularly escape to our apartment in Xlendi Bay, even if it is just for one day: either to enjoy relaxing on a boat trip in summer or for some adventure hiking in winter. We find our apartment ideal for all seasons and we have continuously tried to make it as comfortable and welcoming as possible for us and for our guests alike. We enjoy sitting outside in the terrace high up over the bay of this little village where we usually have our meals looking down at the crystal clear water and the colourful fishing boats manoevering silently towards the quay. In summer we would go swimming or just relax with a good book to read.

Notes on prices
Baby cot can be provided for an extra charge of 45 euros per week. 10% discount for lets of 21 days and over. Longer stays are possible at further discounts. We can arrange for transfer by taxi directly from the airport to the apartment for an extra charge. Internet access available for a charge of €50 for up to one month. We provide a free welcome pack of fresh bread, milk butter, eggs, cereals, water, tea, coffee etc.
Changeover day
We do not have any set changeover days and arrivals and departures can be on any day of the week. However, arrivals must be after 4pm and departures before 10am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table in solid pine. The spare bedroom has twin beds with another wardrobe. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans with variable speeds. Double sofa-bed in the living room can sleep a further 2 persons. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom is with a bath plus shower rail, water heater etc. |
| Kitchen: | Modern kitchen also in solid pine, fully fitted with fridge/freezer oven and cooking range. Toaster, electric kettle and full equipment, pots and pans and utensils, plus crockery etc. There is also a broom cupboard with cleaning equipment. |
| Utility Room: | At the back of the apartment there is another small balcony where clothes and beach towels can be hung to dry. |
| Living Rooms: | The combined sitting/dining room/kitchen is quite spacious, and leading to the terrace. |

Outside
Our apartment enjoys an impressive view of the sandy bay of the little fishing village of Xlendi. It is located on the fourth floor of a block of 10 apartments built on high ground just 15m away from the coastline. The apartments are serviced by a lift. We have a fully fitted kitchen with sitting-dining room giving onto a terrace overlooking the bay. Comfortable accommodation with solid pine furniture and ceramic flooring throughout. Nearby attractions include important archaeological sites and the old fortified city of Rabat which is 10 minutes away by bus. The apartment is in a quiet area but very close to popular restaurants. You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace watching the colourful fishing boats coming in with their varied catch and then go for a quick swim before lunch. You can relax with a good read and later go for a walk in the countryside along panoramic cliffs and winding valley
Coast/Beach
The sandy beach is just outside the apartment block.
Special interest holidays
Xlendi bay is very popular with diving enthusiasts and there are two diving schools providing equipment and guided dives for beginners and advanced divers at reasonable prices.
Boat hire is also available.
Travel
The airport is on the sister island of Malta and therefore transfer from the airport includes a 30 minute ferry trip. The transfer from the airport to the apartment usually takes about 2 hours at most.
Distances
The capital city of Gozo, Rabat is about 5 miles away. The island is very small and all villages and places of interest are within 30 minutes driving distance.
Booking notes
When we receive your enquiry we will ask you to confirm your interest. As soon as we receive email confirmation we would make a provisional booking valid for 7 days until you make the necessary arrangements for your flight. A 35% deposit must be paid within that period for a firm reservation and the balance paid at least 6 weeks before your arrival. Down payment forfeited in the event of cancellation. No reduction in rental for changes notified within 6 weeks before date of arrival.
