Further north from St Paul's Bay, lies the town of Mellieha, which sits on top of a hill, overlooking the 'tail end' of Malta. It is also surrounded by fertile valleys and most spots provide good panoramas of the countryside, the Bay - which has the longest beach - 600m (650 yards) in Malta and northwards towards Comino and Gozo. The town is popular with Maltese and visitors alike. One can also find some good restaurants, entertainment and full shopping facilities. The village festa is celebrated on 8th September.

Changeover day is flexible. Check in/out time is 12 noon. We provide weekly change of bed linen.

Nicely furnished 2 bedroom self catering apartments consists of a double bed, with ensuite, toliet and sink. Second bedroom with two single beds, shower cubicle, bath and WC. Kitchen combined with living and dining area. Fans, TV,broadband access, internet access iron, iron board, safe deposit box, cooker, four ring stove, oven and grill, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, all with either terrace or balcony. Served by lift. The apartments are spacious enough to sleep 4 adults and 2 small children sharing. Members of Malta Tourism Authority. |

Notes on accommodation
Extra beds and baby cot are available. Supplement per each extra person. £35/50 Euro per week. These apartments are equipped with air-conditions/central heating, but this is optional. Unit cards can be purchased directly on request. Members of Malta Tourism Authority.

All apartments with terrace or balcony and including their own garden/patio furniture. The pool measures 8 x 4 meters with surrounding bathing area. Some of the apartments have a pool view from their balcony whilst others have an open front view. An intercom system is installed, with connection to each apartment. Washing machine free to use.

Nearest beach at 3km. Diving, or 20 minutes walk to the sea surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, paragliding, bars, restaurants, cafes, water sports, walking promenade, cinema and casinos about 6km away.

Malta International airport (Gudga) is 25km.
We offer airport pick ups and car hire.

Nearest ferry port Valletta 20km Ferry to Gozo or Comino at 6km.
Distances
These Merill apartments are only 15 minutes pleasant walk to the main road for bus stops and proceeds to shops, supermarkets, chemists, banks and other attractive sites.

Review Rating: 5/5 "As I am in a wheelchair we were rather worried about the suitability of booking an apartment abroad but the owners assured us it would be ideal, and it was. The owners were so kind & helpful but not at all intrusive. The property was very clean and well maintained. On the one evening when we had a terrific rain storm and water flooded everywhere, they quickly cleaned up.Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartments are in a lively town but set back from the hustle 'n' bustle so you get a peacful nights sleep. There are so many places to see & things to do that after such a great holiday in 2006 we returned in 2007 to the Merrill Apartments. The owners are so caring and helpful, the apartments clean and bright, the weather superb, the locals so friendly, the food's great and plenty to do and see IF you've got transport or just laze on the beach: what more do you want on holiday? Malta here we come again! "
