Notes on accommodation
This truly exceptional traditional Gozitan farmhouse offers 5* luxury with designer decor, and has been very popular with couples on honeymoon, having the added benefit of being within easy walking distance of Victoria the island's capital.
Accessibility
Due to the elevated position of this property it is not suitable for clients with mobility problems and for children under 10 years of age.
Outside
Rear sun deck with private swimming pool approx 6.5 x 3 m. Teak sun loungers and parasol, matching patio table and chairs, stone BBQ, freshwater pool shower.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at Xlendi, about a 30 minutes walk away. Valley View is situated nearly equidistant between Victoria the (island's capital) and Xlendi fishing village with a small beach. Other beaches, both sandy and shingle, plus hide away coves are also within a 15 minutes drive.
Golf
The nearest golf course is on the main island of Malta, accessed by ferry, allow 2 hours travelling.
Special interest holidays
Gozo is the perfect place for walking and cycling holidays out of main season.
The clear seas are excellent for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving with many PADI qualified dive schools located on the island.
Horse riding is also popular.
Gozo has many historical sites including temples that pre-date the Egyptian Pyramids.
Travel
Travel to Malta airport, then cross to Gozo by ferry (30 mins). Valley View is approx 35km from Malta airport.
Distances
The island of Gozo is made up of 17 individual villages contained in an area 11 x 7 kms in total.
Car hire is recommended.
Further details
Maltese cuisine is Italian based, of high quality and reasonably priced. Maltese wines and beers are also of high quality and excellent value.
Booking notes
Our minimum letting period is 7 nights. A deposit of 25% of the holiday price is required at the time of reservation with the balance being due 8 weeks prior to departure. Transfer and car hire costs are paid locally in Gozo.
There is a £150 returnable key/breakage deposit applicable to each booking.
