Village Core Guest House is right in the village core of Haz-Zebbug, a very old town in the middle of Malta. All amenities like the bus station, groceries, bars and restaurants, pharmacy, banks etc are within 100 metres. Anywhere you want to go in Malta, it is just 20 minutes away by car. This is because Haz-Zebbug is right in the middle of Malta. This block is newly built (2009) and super clean. I (Rosario) lives at the top floor, so at anytime, you need some help or assistance, kindly let me know. My son, Philip, takes care of emails and bookings. Would you need to hire a car or information about the public buses or attractions you may visit and how to arrive, please don't hesitate to drop him a query by email.

Coast/Beach
Gar-Lapsi is just 4km away (Bus route 109). Other close great beaches are Ghajn-Tuffieha, Golden Bay. Ghadira is the largest bay but it's also the furthest away.

Special interest holidays
The week of Good Friday / Easter will make a wonderful visit. The whole village will be full of activity and on Good Friday one of Malta's best processions is organised with lots of characters representing biblical figures, bands, horses etc.
Another excellent week to visit is the week when St Philip is celebrates (normally the 2nd Sunday of June). Again, full of activity, marches with bands, fireworks etc.

Travel
In Malta we have one airport (Luqa) which is just 5km away.

Distances
Rabat and Mdina (the old capital city of Malta) is 4km way. Bus route 109 take you there directly!
