Notes on accommodation
Property has air-conditioning in all areas. There is now a shower in the bathroom as well as the one in the en-suite.There are also fans in all the rooms. Air-con also heats property plus there are 2 mobile calor gas heaters. Please note: this is a no smoking property.

The lift is now fully functional but not suited to wheelchair access.

Picturesque village of Marsascala is approx 10 minutes walk. There are local shops and a very wide selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and takeaways. Swimming areas at St Thomas Bay are approx 5 minute's walk from the property.

Marsa golf club is a 7km drive away.
Travel
Luqa International Airport 10km (10-15 min drive)
Car hire is recommended to fully explore the island although there is a frequent bus service from Marsascala.

Further details
There are numerous local shops in Marsascala ranging from small corner shops to a supermarket. There is a Bank of Valletta with ATM and an HSBC ATM. Leisure activities include swimming at nearby St Thomas bay and there are local diving facilities with a large Diving centre at Marsascala. Most places of interest in Malta are only a short drive away.
Booking notes
A booking deposit of 25% is required with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure. We can also arrange taxi's to and from the airport and local car hire can also be arranged, either from the airport, or delivered to the apartment.

About the owner
We first met in Malta (Olympia is from Qrendi) when Len was stationed there whilst in the RAF. We currently live in Hampshire UK but have been regularly visiting Malta for the past 33 years.
4 years ago we decided to buy a property in Malta.
We wanted a 'Home from Home' as we had previously rented some awful places whilst on holiday and we wanted to create a Luxury, contemporary style which everyone seems to like. Len and Olympia

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Why Marsascala?
We prefer the South of the island as it's generally quieter but still not far from all the attractions. Marsascala is a great seaside town. Not too busy but picturesque and close to some good swimming areas and a good selection of both Restaurants & Bars. It's more of a family resort without the noise and crowds that you get around Sliema and Buggiba.
Marsascala comes alive in the evenings when people walk around the promenade and there is often live music and entertainment.
We always had problems parking when visiting some of the more Northerly resorts. Here we can just take a 10 minute stroll and be right in the Middle of everything. If you do drive, there is usually always somewhere to park.
We're sure we made the right choice!
