An 18 hole golf course is available at the Marsa Sports Club complex. Visitors can take out a temporary membership while they are on holiday.

Travel
The Airport is approximately 15 minutes away. Taxis are readily available on arrival and can also be pre-booked prior to departure.

Wembleys is a very reliable Taxi Company who not only provide a 24 hour service, but also guided tours of the island in their air-conditioned Mercedes. Tel. 00356 2137 4141. (Fares are normally cheaper than 'white taxis').
Car Hire is also available.

Distances
The bus terminal in Swieqi / Saint Julians is situated just 3 minutes away and provides a cheap and easy way of exploring the Island.

Ferries also depart from Sliema to Valletta taking just 10 minutes to cross the harbour.

Further details
There are many small shops, Confectionaries, Coffee Shops and supermarkets nearby selling local produce, groceries and a variety of household goods and appliances.
