Or visit the ancient walled city of Mdina (7km) or the fortifications of Valletta a UNESCO world Heritage Site and The Three Cities (10km). Mellieha Bay is easily reached by bus in 25 minutes.

Also lots of eateries including a Restaurant serving Delicious Maltese Dishes like a mama used to make!and another situated in a 17th century house of character with stone spiral staircase serving international cuisine and both winners of the "Good Food Guide" for many consecutive years. Please ask for the names when you are in Malta.

We had a great week in Malta and staying in Carmen's apt made getting around the island very easy. The central location of Mosta makes catching the bus and exploring the island in any direction easy. We enjoyed the friendly people in town and the beautiful view of th Mosta dome. It was easy to pick up groceries and fresh fruit,veggies and meat. The apt has plenty of room, It is a quality place priced reasonably. We would love to come back. Carmen was so helpful,she even arranged for a taxi to pick us up to and from the airport.
