Dating back to the 19th century, this very bright and spacious house of character, situated in a private alley, offers excellent holiday accommodation for discerning clients. Finished to an extremely high standard by a Maltese interior designer. Includes air-conditioning, large sun deck and private pool. This property is ideally located within a few minutes level walk of village amenities including local shops, bars and a couple of restaurants. Buses pass closeby, although we do recommend hiring a car.

Notes on accommodation
The owner's Maltese interior designer has skillfully managed to take the original delightful features of this House of Character, which include high arched ceilings plus the natural Gozitan exposed stonework in many rooms, and blend with the very latest modern 'minimalist' furnishings and fittings. The air-conditioning units also act as heat exchangers to give warmth on those odd chilly early Spring or late Autumn evenings.

Outside
South facing sun deck to include private swimming pool approx 7.5 (max) x 5.0 m, sun loungers, ornamental shrubs, patio table and chairs on raised terrace, BBQ and parasol.
Coast/Beach
The best beach is at Ramla, about a 15 minutes drive away. Other beaches, both sandy and shingle, plus hide away coves are also within a 10-15 minutes drive.
Golf
The nearest golf course is on the main island of Malta, accessed by ferry, allow 2 hours travelling.
Special interest holidays
Gozo is the perfect place for walking and cycling holidays out of main season. The clear seas are excellent for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving with many PADI qualified dive schools located on the island. Gozo has many historical sites including temples that pre-date the Egyptian Pyramids.
Travel
Travel to Malta airport, then cross to Gozo by ferry (25 mins). This property is approx 35km from Malta airport.
Distances
The island of Gozo is made up of 17 individual villages contained in an area 11 x 7kms in total. Car hire is recommended.
Further details
Maltese cuisine is Italian based, of high quality and reasonably priced. Maltese wines and beers are also of high quality and excellent value. The island of Gozo is predominantly a farming community and during the summer months, when the weather is hot, farm workers leave for the fields just after dawn, to avoid the heat of the day. This also means that you may well be woken by farmyard animals, such as chickens, sheep, cows and dogs as the village comes to life.
Booking notes
Our minimum letting period is 7 nights. A deposit of 25% of the holiday price is required at the time of reservation with the balance being due 8 weeks prior to departure. Transfer and car hire costs are paid locally in Gozo. There is a £150 returnable key/breakage deposit applicable to each booking.
