Palazzo San Pawl, is located barely a 100m from the Co-Cathedral of St. John's housing the biggest masterpiece by Caravaggio. Spacious apartments situated on the ground floor of a beautifully and lovingly restored Valletta Palazzo. The building is nearly 400 years old and was originally built by the Sovereign Military Order of Jerusalem (Knights of Malta), it is very centrally located just round the corner from the Co-Cathedral of St.Johns and very close to all amenities.

Notes on prices
We also charge a one of 30 E. cleaning supplement per booking. The prices quoted are for 2 persons sharing any extra persons are charged 25 euros/night.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible as are arrival & departure times which have to be mutually agreed upon.

Notes on accommodation
There is central heating throughout and ceiling fans for the summer months. One has access to a spectacular roof top terrace, where one can see sweeping views of the grand harbour. There are sunbeds and also a BBQ area. The roof terrace is shared with the rest of the guests in the palazzo and is accessed by means of a lift.
Accessibility
The location of the palazzo is on a sloping street and the pavement is stepped all the way therefore the street unfortunately is not that accessible to wheelchair users.
Outside
The del Monte suite surrounds an internal courtyard with an outside seating area and is for the sole use of the apartment.
Coast/Beach
Valletta is on a peninsula, and one can actually swim of the rocks at the tip of Valletta. The nearest sandy beach would be golden bay/ghajn tuffieha - approx 20 mins by car or 40 mins by bus.
Golf
Marsa golf course - 3km
Travel
Luqa airport is 10-15mins by car, hiring a car in Valletta is not essential as there is a central bus station which can transport you to nearly every spot on the island & public transport is very cheap.
Booking notes
To confirm a booking will require a 30% deposit excluding bank charges by bank transfer to my account, the difference then paid in cash on arrival. On arrival we require a 100€ refundable security deposit.

5th January 2011 Pallazo San Pawl allowed us to stay in something truly magnificent and steeped in history. You have done a marvelous job in restoring it to its regal splendor and you are a most gracious host.
From the moment we walked through the front door we knew we had entered into something special. The courtyard was full of lovely plants that keep me enthralled and all of the special touches you have provided for your guest were just marvelous. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bathroom was wonderful, the bed comfortable, great internet connection, and top marks for information for where to go shopping. We did not want for anything during our stay. The roof terrace provided an amazing view of the Grand Harbor and the Three Cities thank you for sharing this with us. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
When I bought this property most of my friends and family insisted that I was mad as the palazzo was in a ruinous state- missing ceilings, no floors, decades of debris, pigeons etc...everywhere etc, now its been painstakingly restored to its original state. It is located very centrally in Valletta minutes away from everywhere...
Unique benefits of the property
Palazzo San Pawl is extremely well located right in the centre of Valletta within walking distance of all amenities. Whilst staying with us you will also have access to our wonderful roof top terrace which commands panoramic views of the Grand Harbour. The bus terminus is a 4 min walk with buses taking you all round the island. In fact there is hardly any need to hire a car.
