Typical small ancient Maltese townhouse with traditional wooden balcony off large sitting room. Well positioned in side street very near centre with museums and wine bars and not far from the sea. Very quiet. Sorry but it is a non smoking house.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover days. Suitcases can be left during last day if flights are in the evening. However house needs to be cleaned in the morning of your departure.

Suitable for 2 plus 1 in small bedroom. Air-conditioning downstairs only. Electric fans and heaters upstairs and in dining room.
Accessibility
Sorry not really suitable for wheelchair users. Stairs up to first floor bathroom etc.
Outside
No outside just the small wooden balcony with views on to the street where you can sit and survey the scene. Very typical Maltese street.
Coast/Beach
Coast very close - 5 minutes walk. Delightful walks around coast and swimming off rocks, or sandy beaches are a bus ride away.
Travel
Airport 20 minutes away. Taxi 16 euros to house from airport or bus 3 euros. Car hire fairly cheap. Buses to almost everywhere and very cheap from the bus terminal 10 mins walk from house. Car hire best from airport but not necessary for Valletta itself.
Distances
Island very small so not far from any interesting place. Buses go to most places or cars can be hired by the day or week.
Further details
Lots of small shops to buy food and markets not far. Cinema and art centre plus wonderful theatre all in walking distance. Excellent walks around Valletta harbour and swimming off the rocks. Boat trips around Malta or the harbours near by. Local restaurants all within walking distance and small wine bars just around the corner.

This quaint historical house in the heart of Valletta is a fantastic location for visiting Malta. Trabaxu wine bar much recommended and good swimming of rocks on S.E. coast. Olly and Claire England
This has been a great location for our first visit to Valletta and Malta. Enjoyed evenings on the balcony watching the street life. Excellent seafood at Marsaxlokk. Hypogeum is well worth a visit.
