The owner is an architect and civil engineer with many years of experience. Among other projects he has been responsible for the design and execution of the largest deep water filming tank in the world which was built in 1980 for the shooting of the film "Raise the Titanic" and has gained him a mention in the book "Last of a kind - The sinking of Lew Grade" by Quenting Falk and Dominic Prince.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Villa Michaela Apartments consists of a block of 12 apartments which were designed and built in 1994 by the present owner who is also the architect of the block. The owner has retained six of these apartments for letting and has taken every care to create a pleasant and comfortable environment. The Manageress, the cleaners and the maintenance persons are extremely helpful and very sociable. The other owners who live in the block are also very obliging but they rightfully expect our tenants to use the property in a manner which is appropriate for an upper class residential property and to respect the basic rules of peaceful cohabitation and civic sense. The owner also has other properties of a similar standard in the St Julians/Sliema area. These can be seen on the owner's website.
