Gozo, is the second largest island of the Maltese Archipelago that, together with the smaller isle of Comino and the main island of Malta form the Republic of Malta. Home to beautiful secluded beaches, sleepy villages and prehistoric temples pre-dating the pyramids of Egypt, Gozo is popularly called The Island of Calypso, originating from the Greek mythology as the fabled island inhabited by the nymph Calypso in Homer's Odyssey. Nadur is a town spread over the top of a plateau enjoying breathtaking views of Gozo, Comino and the Gozo Channel. The name of the locality is derived from the Maltese word Nadar, which means to observe at length and so to keep guard. Nadur also plays host to some unique carnival celebrations. This apartment lies in a quiet street of this picturesque town in the east of Gozo. Close to all amenities and minutes away from Gozo harbour, the apartment's ideal location provides easy access to the rest of the island and the breathtaking beaches surrounding it.

Further details
Diving - Gozo offers some of the best diving sites in the world. The island's coast displays a variety of bays, coves and sea inlets with natural caves of all shapes and sizes. In the sea around Gozo one finds an abundance of marine life and spectacular scenery all around. Divers might even be lucky to encounter some archaeological remains. They could also dive through an artificial reef in the form of a purposely sunken ferry boat that has become one of Gozo's diving mainstays. Water visibility is most often 40 metres and sea temperatures rarely go lower than 16 degrees Celsius. Country Walks - Between Autumn and late Spring Gozo's countryside springs into life with an incredible array of natural views and breathtaking panoramas. The overall greenery quickly subdues the golden yellow Summer scenery as early as the first rain showers of Autumn quench the dry soil. You are also spoilt for choice irrespective of whether you are interested in water sports, rock climbing, sailing, swimming and sunbathing or the cultural and historical aspect of the island, the excellent restaurants, pubs, discos and the vibrant nightlife.

Guest comments
Thank you very much for letting us stay in your apartment last week. We had a excellent time and found the flat very clean and welcoming; the beds in particular were excellent. There was everything we needed during our stay and we found the area nice and quiet. Nadur itself has plenty to do and makes a ideal base for exploring the rest of the island.
We look forward to staying with you again soon.
