Malona village is perhaps most known for producing and exporting high-quality oranges and mandarins, and gets their village name from Mileon, which means a place with fruit orchards. In fact, many of the popular attractions in Malona are centered on agricultural activities such as tours of the fruit orchards, livestock breeding and tasting of their sugary sweet fruit. Additionally, Malona has yet to be untouched by tourism which gives the village its authentic feel which is never overcrowded or overpopulated.
You will find that even though they may not be the biggest place that you have spent a holiday they do have some of the cleanest holiday rentals in Malona and holiday homes in Malona that you will ever see. However, do not be too surprised if you do not get to enjoy them much because the activities and things to do will tend to keep you occupied.
Some of the things that you will not want to miss doing are visiting Skoutouljaris Canyon which is located in Malona and vising Agathi Beach which is located in Archangelos – 2.9 km away. Not to mention the fact that there are a few more wonderful beaches located in Haraki this is about 3 km away. Also, there are a ton of restaurants to choose from and the locals will be more than happy to point you to the one that would be perfect for you.
