Our house is a very typical Madeiran country cottage, with panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean, and all-day sunshine. Its situated on a terraced hillside in Loreto, a farming village near Calheta, about 20 minutes drive west of Funchal. About 35 minutes drive from the airport. Secluded location, but only minutes from sandy beaches, levada walks and shops, banks and restaurants. Paragliding, sailing and surfing available nearby.
