Facilities include 1 bedroom with sofa bed, with sleeping capacity of up to 4 people, in a lovely and peaceful rural location in the upper area of Ponta do Sol. There is also a 1 bedroom apartment next door that can be let together if friends and family would like to holiday together, needs to be arranged in advance. The village of Ponta do Sol has a lovely beach and promenade with a wonderful fish restaurant.

The nearest town is the lovely Ponta do Sol, by the sea front and a 10 minute car journey to the west will take you to the golden sandy beach and marina of Calheta.

There are a couple of well know golf course, Palheiro Golf, about 40 minutes drive and Santo da Serra Golf, about 50 minutes drive.
Travel
Funchal airport is about 45 minutes away and the main city of Funchal is about 30 minutes. Car-hire is recommended.
Distances
There is places of interest in Ponta do Sol and Calheta and is also ideal for nature walks.
Further details
The centre of Ponta do sol is about 10 minutes drive where you will find a small shopping centre with various shops, supermarket and restaurants.
