The highway is above the house, so in the house we do not hear any street noise.
The house is ideal for families or small groups up to 8 people. It has a high quality internal and external finishes, spacious rooms, airy and very light and extra services highly innovative.
From the terrace, you can enjoy a panoramic view over Funchal bay and admire the arriving and departing of large cruise ships.
The house is located near the Old Town of Funchal (1.5 km downhill). There are some of the best restaurants with various local and international menus. In the Old Town also you can visit the Historical Centre of Madeira Museum and other interesting museums in Funchal telling the varied and interesting history of the Island.

We can enjoy a panoramic view over Funchal bay, with a very busy port for the large liners of cruise ships.
The house is near the Old Town, where you can find some of the best restaurants with varied local and cosmopolitan menus.
Also you can visit the Historical Centre of Madeira and several interesting museums in Funchal telling the varied and interesting history of the Island. You also can take the cable car to the beautiful gardens of Jardim Botânico and Monte. The famous fish, fruit and flower market is also just off the Old Town.
This beautiful island is famous for its tropical gardens, two championship golf courses, truly wonderful mountain and coastal walking, ocean swimming, sailing, game fishing, etc. and, above all, its friendly Portuguese inhabitants.

We have enjoyed very much to stay in your house for 4 weeks to do some work. We thank you very much for your hospitality and friendly way to be to us. The house is perfect for working as the internet and facilities are excellent. The house is also excellent for relaxing. Nice terraces and garden, wonderful view to sea, bay and mountains and we have been quite lucky with nice weather too. Thanks for very good fruit – we have enjoyed that – it tasted wonderful. Also thanks for help with scanning – good cleaning of the house and nice welcome in the airport by your son. All of you are very nice and welcoming people so we have felt us very much at home here. We hope to come back soon to your beautiful island and house and were happy to see how much renovation that had been done since we were here last February – just 2 days after the water flow and wind had disturbed so much of the island.
