Cosy apartment overlooking the Atlantic, and the Natural Reservation Islands called Desertas. Situated in the quiet tourist area of Caniço de Baixo, you can enjoy the beach, the cafés, restaurants or have a moonlight walk along the promenade. There are several Hotels which provide swimming pools, scuba diving and night entertainment. There is also a Tourist Office where you can enquire about Levada Walks, Island Tours, Fishing or Sailing Tours. There is a minimarket at walking distance, but for a bigger selection it´s a 2 min drive to Caniço Center. If you wouldn´t like to drive, there is a bus stop just outside the building.

There are 2 Golf Courses in Madeira. Palheiro Golf about 20 min drive and Santo da Serra Golf Course, about 30 min drive.
Special interest holidays
Madeira is well known by it´s Fauna, Levadas, Wine, Golf Museums, Embroidery and of course it´s subtropical climate with mild temperatures all year-round. Located in the Atlantic Ocean, Madeira’s climate is influenced by the Gulf Stream and Northwest winds, which blow towards the Cape Verde islands. Therefore you should visit the Botanical Garden and the Monte Palace Tropical Gardens. At the end of your holidays you will realise that 1 week if not enough.
Travel
Madeira has 1 Airport and it´s about 10 min drive to the apartment. We can arrange you a transfer, in a Mercedes Sprinter bus, with a qualified driver for the total price of 20 Euros. A car hire is not essential, there is a frequent bus service to Caniço Center and to Funchal.
Further details
Shops are open from 09h00-13h00 to 15h00-19h00 from Monday to Friday. Shopping Centres and Supermarkets are open everyday until 22h00. Banks, 08h30 to 15h00 from Monday to Friday.
Booking notes
A 100 Euro deposit, of the rental rate, to confirm the reservation, paid by bank transfer. Non refundable if cancellation occurs less tha 2 month before the arrival date. The remaining balance is due to be paid upon your arrival date.
