Front desk service, maid every week and laundry facilities. The apartment has recently been renovated. Within 1km radius over 100 restaurants and 100 shops. The resort is truly in a unique location. It is the only apartments in Funchal on a beach and in a hotel and you are in a private owned large apartment.

Changeover day
Normally changeover day is Mondays. (preferred) Many flights from the UK to Madeira is on Mondays, but we are flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Children friendly with area for playing and kids area in
swimming pool and closed door for access to the beach. No cars in front of hotel.
Accessibility
Wheelchair friendly, 2 lefts to apartment and carpark in front
of entrance to the hotel.
Outside
The hotel apartment has 2 big balconies on the 4th. floor with dining table/chairs and 2 sunbeds overlooking the sea. Downstairs the heated swimming pool is big (approx. 15 meters x 8 meters). Subtropical garden areas with access to the sea and a promenade a long the beach with bars/restaurants, supermarked and to the Lido.
Coast/Beach
Beach is only 20 metere away! The location of the hotel apartment is west Funchal near Lido on the Praia Formosa beach with several bars/restaurants and the new shopping centre of Madeira Forum with over 100 shops and 20 restaurants.
Golf
Madeira has 2 pro. golf courses only a few minutes drive from the hotel and you can play all year round due to the average temperature of about 20 c.
Special interest holidays
We also have the best prices on island tours, mountain walks and car hire.
Travel
We have a minibus service from the Madeira airport to the hotel apartment in Funchal. It cost 28 euros for two persons and luggage for 4 persons 34 euros and luggage and I will wait for you in the hotel reception. I will email you about the details.
Distances
Camara De Lobos about 2km and Funchal centre about the same 2km and Madeiras airport about 25km.

We take last minute bookings, but normally book well in advance.
If you find no availability on our site, NO problem, we have many friends here in the same block of hotel apartments that want to rent out and we can arrange a similar apartment for you.

My name is Jan Hansen and I'm from Denmark and the owner of two hotel apartments in Funchal and caretaker of a villa in Calheta and property in Ponta do Sol. I have been living and working in Madeira Island for over 21 years. I invested in this particular Island because this is one of the few places in Europe with no winter. We love Madeira and think this is the best place in the world, an Island in Europe with no winter and a Danish summer all year round!! Could not be better than that!
