Changeover day
Normally changeover day is Mondays. (preferred) Many flights from the UK to Madeira is on Mondays.

Outside
The hotel apartment has 2 big balconies on the 4th. floor with dining table/chairs and 2 sunbeds overlooking the sea. Downstairs the heated swimming pool is big (approx. 15 meters x 8 meters). Garden area with access to the sea and a promenade a long the beach with bars/restaurants, supermarked and to the Lido.
Coast/Beach
The location of the hotel apartment is west Funchal near Lido on the Praia Formosa beach with several bars/restaurants and the new shopping centre of
Madeira Forum with over 100 shops and 20 restaurants
Golf
Madeira has 2 pro. golf courses only a few minutes drive from the hotel and you can play all year round due to the average temperature of about 20 c.

We also have the best prices on island tours, mountain walks and car hire.
Travel
Madeira International airport is about 20km from the hotel, 30 mins drive. We also best prices on car hire and island tours.
Car is not essential. Hotel has a bus service every half
hour to city center. We also have a minibus service to take you from the Madeira airport to the hotel apartm. in Funchal. It cost 30 euros for 2 persons and 35 euros for 4 persons and luggage.
Distances
The distance to Funchal city center is 2 km, about 5 min drive or 30 min. walking.
Booking notes
We take last minute bookings, but normally book well in advance.
If you find no availability on our site, NO problem, we have many friends here in the same block of hotel apartments that want to rent out and we can arrange a similar apartment for you.
