Coast/Beach
Walk to Reis Magos beach in no time! Drive to Garajau National Park, or Santa Cruz, or the newest engineered white sand beach at Calheta on the West side of the island in 20 minutes using the new amazing tunnel system. Drive to the end of island -- Canical to see a dramatic view North, South, and East coast lines and have a picnic.
Golf
There are several golf courses on the Island of Madeira; in addition, day trips can be made to neighboring Porto Santo Island for additional courses by ferry or plane.
Special interest holidays
Natal/Christmas and New Years is a one of a kind experience on Madeira Island. The lights and fireworks, and festivals, and entertainment is world-class. Not to be missed, and unlike anyplace we have ever seen!
